I played at the resorts east chicago the other day at their 2-5NL game....The action was the craziest I have ever seen....The standard raise was between $35-50 pre-flop.... I saw many hands go to the flop 5 ways at $100 a pop and see the winning hand being someone hitting a flush on the river with jack 3 of diamonds.....Absolutley a sick game.....Any one else play in this new game or have any similar games they have been in??

I played a 2/5NL game at Niagara over the holidays and many pots were going to $300+ or so pre-flop, people triple barrelling A7os pre, etc.

One time I went with a buddy to play at his bookies house. 1/2NL game. Well, when I got there I found out there was a lot of money thrown around and while it was 1/2, it played like 5/5. It was sick.I later found out it was the bookie, at least one heavy coke dealer and a couple other lower level dealers.I haven't been back.

.05/.10NL... at least $250 on the table.Quite deepstacked. Biggest hand: My buddy raised from the button, BB smooth calls. Flop is K 9 J, all diamonds. BB bets out, hero calls. Turn is an offsuit 2 or something, BB checks, Hero bets BB reraises all in (kid seemed decent, but overplayed his hand a bit here) and my buddy instacalls w/ A10d for the nuts... BB has Q 6d for 2nd nuts. $160 pot w/ .05/.1 blinds. It was fun.

At one of the casinos here in Michigan, there is a guy that occasionally comes through and plays 1/2 NLHE, and moves in preflop between 80-90% of the hands. He is an older, retired guy, who is basically a rich donator. I've seen him get stuck for 3K-4K in just one night playing 1/2. I used to go to the casino when I heard he would be there so that I could sit in the game - my record is taking 12 buy-ins from him in one session.

I was at crazy table this past Friday at Majestic.$1/$2About 5 limpers.Flop is As/Kc/Rag(d) (rainbow)Checks around to this older guy who bets $50 into a $10 pot (he'd done this before). He actually gets 1 caller (this caller checked from EP).Next card is Jd. 1st player checks. Older man goes all in for like $170. This kid calls. River another diamond, 3 diamonds on board. Kid says, "I got the flush." Older man flips over Kd7d for nut flush. We never got to see the kid's hole cards, but WTF did he call $50 with? Just in case anyone is wondering, the older man DID NOT have 2 pair on the flop.
