But would it get more value if I lead out on the flop here?

The only mistake here IMO, is calling the flop. Low suited-gapers do not play well OOP.I don't mind check/calling down with trips no kicker OOP, it kind of depends on the opponent. If they are aggressive, both preflop and post flop, c/c is probably best. However vs a tight/passive player, I might check/raise the flop as they are more likely to have a queen or big pair here that they might not get away from. Trips 2's are nice here, because your opponent is unlikely to have raised with one, and might not give you credit for one either, so your kicker does not come too much into play.

I think you should fold preflop. Villain raising your blind a lot is not a reason to call with a hand as weak as this.I really hate your flop check/call line, he should not expect you to have a 2 here very often if ever since you called a 4x BB preflop raise. Since he should never expect you to have a 2 here, a check/raise is in order, or perhaps a bet/3-bet line. If he has the queen, or KK/AA you're most likely stacking him if you play faster on the flop.

I normally do fold this PF, but I was hoping to catch a flop like I did. I just drew a blank as how to play it. I was also doubled up at this point, so I felt more compelled to gamble. So, no more "fold PF" responses please.Play this faster is all I wanted to know. After the hand was over I felt I should have started betting right off the bat.

You're not making money with 24sooted OOP ... anyway ...I fastplay the shit out of this flop and hope he's holding something big like AQ or KK. He raised PF after all. I NEVER check that turn. We need to get paid hard if we're going to play 24sooted -- chip up that pot, please. It make a river bet easier for the villain to call. I table that shit and get ready for action.
