Very disturbing, on so many levels. Did you accidentally eat some meat? Pretty sure Balloon's Freudian analysis is spot on.And Hillary's role is a metaphor, not unlike that of the Nazis, busting in unannounced with storm troopers in tow, hell bent on getting everyone to succumb to her twisted socialist vision of America...........................or not. Pretty sure she is the anit Christ. And next time you are in that dream try getting that palm hair high-lighted and then transplanted to the top of your head? :club: On a more serious note (nice job on day 1 btw). I'm curious if, now that you are playing more on line, are you going to incorporate those differences and address them in your PokerVT lessons?GL the rest of the way.

According to Freud, every character in a dream is actually an element of your own subconscious. In other words, you play every role, and the "you" in the dream is merely observing as your subconscious tries to tell you things about itself. However, that's only true for dreams where you wake up and immediately have the sense that it's a "significant" or important dream, the kind of dream you remember for years. A dream that's full of previous-day influences, like what you watched on TV or people you talked to that very day (or what you did that might cause hairy palms), is usually just the brain blowing off steam, re-running the day's events as it sorts them into memory.

Daniel, you said you had no clue who the other guys were, but weren't you at the final table of the 2006 Five Diamond tournament with David Redlin?
yes he did....Also the dream is trippy, I lol'd when I read the Sorel Mizzi line....It's pretty much just a random weird dream...the ending part of the DMT trip you're on when you're in full REM. Definitely could have some meaning though....it'll be pretty damn hard to figure it out.

Definitely could have some meaning though....it'll be pretty damn hard to figure it out.Yeah, it probably is just the brain churning through its contents.Buuuuut......From a Freudian standpoint, check this out:Hillary = Scolding Mother Figure = superegoBarack Obama / John Edwards = "the guys," peers = egoTerrorist = unpredictable force of chaos = id

The terrorist was trying to recruit me to collude with him against Hillary Clinton when she busts in the door with troops.
So the id is saying, c'mon, let's do what WE want, don't let superego talk you into being a good little boy. Superego is crashing in, intent on making the id shut up and behave properly.
They were trying to get the terrorist dude, but I ended up defending him for some odd reason.
I really want to do what the id is telling me. [because, of course, the id is always about doing what we want, regardless of social cost, laws, etc.]
I started talking to the troops and the powers that be and was attacking Hillary for something, I can't remember. Barack agreed with me and then John Edwards did too.
Standing up to the superego a little, challenging it. Maybe feeling pressure to behave from outside lately, and rebelling against it? Moreover, the ego (the guys, peers) is agreeing, backing me up, urging me to indulge myself, go a little wild. The shift of scene is interesting, because after that, the dream Daniel sort of starts to play the role of superego, warning Annette_15, who is playing the id in this segment, to rein herself in and join the others. Again, ego backs him up. Why the shift? Because the self is weighing its options, trying each one on for size.Theoretically, most people identify primarily with one level of subconscious. Britney Spears = pure id-driven behavior. The Dalai Lama = pure superego. Dream Daniel always being backed up by ego -- pretty heavily ego-identified (no shock there).Of course, it was also Freud who said, "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar."

What Clinton did to that poor innocent cigar is not a laughing matter.
