Las Vegas Trip Report #2

How do you play for points? We always played somewhere between $.25 - $2.00 a card that you have left in your hand. And if you get your hand and it sucks you can buy it out for equivalent to 7 cards, so if its $1 a card 7 bucks. If we played 2 or 3 handed we play with 17 each with a burn in the middle that the :club: gets.Is this how you played?
yes with the exception that Zach never explained to us that you could buy out. If we could, I woulda bought out about every 2nd hand in the first session.

I don't think its for sure rule, we implemented it years ago when we got some hands that we saw we could not take contol at all, and knew someone could run 17 on us. The funny thing is most times, people waver about buying out and then decide not to, they have a bunch of middle straights that are good and end up winning. You can play on Tiger gaming if you want to practice, they also play it for money on there, but I do not like the way they score, if you are playing 4 handed you can possibly have to pay money to more than just the person that wen out.

No way its the best 2 or 3 person card game ever.Way better than chinese. There are a bunch of different forms so you have to be careful who you play with. There is Pusoy Dos, Tien Lien, Big, Big 2 and some others that I cannot think of, all basically the same but with some the suit orders are different, some can't play full houses, etc.

Its actually a phillipino game derived from pusoy dos. I have posted this before, but I have played this game since freshman year of highschool and I was in college killing time between classes and walking around the student union, and I see these two phlipino girls playing there version; pusoy dos, a little different where you can't use full houses (which is weird to me) anyway I asked them if I could play, make sure we are square on the rules, and I proceeded to win every hand for a half an hour. After this, both of them kind of pause look at each other and politley ask me to leave so they can play by themeselves. It was hilarious, unfortuantely nobody there was to witness this, but all my Big playing buddies thought it was great.

You nitted it up probably.

Pumas hurt my feet, I got a pair right before I went to Vegas and we walked everywhere, I don't think they have enough arch for me. I'll send you mine if you like, either that or they are going to goodwill. WHat size do you wear?

Saturday
You forgot the "one hand" of $100 of blackjack that Ray talked you into. They ended up running through the whole two deck shoe with ray up like $500 and teddy up like $300.
We went to 2/4 horse at Planet Hollywood, where it's 8 of us, and 1 young guy n seat 10 who thinks he's god's gift to poker. He ended up taking a bunch off of us by playing super nitty, but man was he bad.
This guy was on my left. During a razz hand, Ray has him board-locked and he's considering a call. Ray kindly points out that the guy cannot win. He calls anyway. A few hands later, Teddy brought in for the complete with a K and this guy is betting the whole way. On the end, guy looks like he has a 6, and Teddy is saying he has like 6-perfect. Guy claims he folded a 6. How the hell do you fold a 6 there, and call when you can't win? I think the guy only came out like +50 or so, but ****, he was bad.
- Was great meeting all the FCPers I haven't met Zach/Cwik, Matt/xzanos, Matt/Acid_Knight, Seth, Mikey, Tanner, and good seeing everyone again, even you Mitch.
Likewise.
- Every night involved playing Chinese till about 10 am and Ray winning EVERY session.
These guys all have the same tell. They giggle uncontrollably when they have strong hands and bonuses. All in all, it was fun times, as Seth and Teddy have said. It was great to meet everyone and I look forward to the summer and the hijinx that will ensue.

Confirmed. I think he played one pot, then left for an entire game rotation, and ended up a winner.
Oh I remember this session. I left for a phone call, even though I was wanting to play Razz very badly. I nitted it up because I was sober(damn work at 8am) and you guys were easy pickins. I think I ended up 60 or so. The night before it was jaegarbombs and blind capping I think. And some creepy lady who wanted to get smashed with us as well. Awkward? I think awesome.

Thats what they are, I was half kidding, but these are them but the stipe is white instead of black size 11. I literally have worn them only like 10 times. I'll ship them if you really want them.3034-206326-d.jpg

"Oh, and Mitch tells us this story about probably the worst Blackjack hand ever involving Ray. Keep in mind Ray can make these kind of plays because he runs sick good. Ray is in for 260, gets dealt the almighty pocket deuces against a 4 showing. All of a sudden he gets his wad out and splits them. He gets an Ace on one of them, and doubles downnnnnnnn. GG 780."The only way this is poor play is if Ray isn't bankrolled for his initial 260 bet, because while splitting 2s and doubling on a soft 13 vs a 4 brings variance, he played the hand perfect.
It was against a 3, and either way I think it's a bad doubledown with a soft 13.

Oh and how could I have forgotten.Mitch and Ray are on a chinese team and are losing badly and are stuck like 50-60 points. All of a sudden, they get this sweet hand, and just start cracking up uncontrollably for like 5 mins. Picture the weed brownies video, while me/seth, Jamie and Zach all have terrible hands. We're all trying to figure out how on earth to block it, but it's unblockable. Hand of the nutbar session. I complete with a K showing, and J3 showing, and hit A246 and take down a pot. Razz is fun.
