showstopper24 0
I was on a cruise with one of those simulators...and I think they said (though it doesn't sound right) that every new course that you buy costs $500. So if you have 20 different courses, it is $10,000.
Balloon guy 158
I was on a cruise with one of those simulators...and I think they said (though it doesn't sound right) that every new course that you buy costs $500. So if you have 20 different courses, it is $10,000.The machines range from $40K for a full screen that you hit into, to $4K for a reading device you can have that measures dopplar effect.Personally I would not want to have a game that you ask people to full swing a club in a bar with drinking. At least if a pool cue slips it just lands on the floor. But you can check your local ISES chapter for a company that rents them and put one in for a night or two and see if the match fits your club. SpiderGuard 0
We used to pay about $50,000 for them at the golf store I managed, and I think that included some sort of service plan. There is another company that offers them, and we ended up switching to that company. I don't know why (I wasn't important enough to be involved in that decision) but I always thought the Full Swing ones were better. There also used to be a bar where I lived that had several of them. Great attraction during the wintertime, and we never saw any problems with it. The best idea may to be not to supply any golf clubs for patrons - real golfers know how to handle their liquor and play at the same time.

nutzbuster 7
Speaking of which (now would be the time to stop reading if you are looking for more poker content), I rushed home to try it out and it's so sick! My back was an absolute mess when I got home but that didn't stop me. Because of my back, though, I couldn't hit the ball the way I wanted to, but I still played Pebble Beach from the up tees and shot 100. After that I practiced and was just amazed how accurate this thing is? There is one club in the bag that I KNOW exactly how far I hit it- my 60 degree wedge goes 60 yards on the dot. I hit about 10 balls and guess what my average distance was? Between 56-63 yards, landing exactly on 60 yards! This thing is too much fun but I didn't want to overdo it.So, I went downstairs and got an ice pack from the freezer, and put it on my back and ribs for 20 minutes or so. It actually feels much better after icing it. Ok, enough about that, nobody cares, lol, I know, but what can I say, I'm obsessed and I just got the coolest toy imaginable!lol.Like a kid (poker) at Christmas. Sounds incredible, but you are going to do some real damage to yourself if you don't lay off the golf for a bit.
HoosierAlum 0
I was actually gonna post this question....I was thinking around 100k everything installed, delivered etc. But I have no basis for that guess; seems BG and Spider Guard know the real cost.
