Acid_Knight 2
These are just random hands, mostly for your amusement, but feel free to mock the strategies used in any of them. All hands take place at 1/2 NL at Red Rock and are not listed in any order.Hand 1:I'm in the SB and Mike's in EP. He raises up to $10 and gets 3 callers so I call with ATdd cause he's a maniac. I also donk bet, dark, into 4 people for $25. The flop is AT3 with 2 hearts and I get called twice. I donk bet dark again for $75 into 2 people and get called twice after the turn is an offusit 8. I now shove my last $125 dark. The river is a J. They both fold.Hand 2:Mike raises in MP to $8 and I call from the SB with Q9o. We are HU. I tell him I'm betting dark. He says he's raising dark. I make it 15 and he raises to $30. We take a flop of A92 with 2 spades. I call the minraise. The turn is a 9. I check. He bets $40 and I call. The river is a T, no flushes possible. I donk $55. He asks how much I have left ($130 more) then he shoves on me. I turn my hand face up, unsure of how I can fold. I tell him he has to have AA. He gets the feeling that I'm going to fold. He offers to show me either one of his cards that I want. I pick one, the Ac. I muck my hand. He later tells me he had AA. I said that if he hadn't shown me a card, I was going to call. If he'd looked at his cards and shown me an A, I'd have called. If he'd shown me any non-Ace card, I'd have called.Hand 3:I have moved seats and I have position now. Mike raises the button to $7 and I make it $26 from the BB with KQdd. The one guy who limped coldcalled this (with a $200 stack) and Mike called. The flop is 33J with 2 diamonds. I bet $50 and the limper calls. I move in dark. The turn is a Q. He calls. River is a K. He shows 34hh. I love his play of limp calling 1/8 of his stack to try and make a hand against 2 maniacs when he's got 4 high. Definitely +EV there.Hand 4:I finally pick up a real hand. Mike makes it $10 OTB with trash and I raise to $40 from the BB with AA. The one guy who limped coldcalled this bet leaving himself $93 behind. Mike calls. The flop is KTx with 2 diamonds. I bet $75, the limper shoves and Mike folds and I obv call. Turn is a Q. River T. He shows AJo. WOW.Hand 5:I limp with 25hh. There are like 4 more limps and Mike checks his BB. The flop comes out Q92 with 2 spades and a heart. Mike bets $10 and I call as do 2 others. The turn is a 2. Mike checks, I quickly bet $50. The others fold and it's back to Mike and he CRAI for my last $150 which I instacall. He says "I think I'm gonna need a spade." No shit . The river is the As because the river's always the ****ing As. He shows 94ss FTW.Hand 6: Battle for the AgesI'm the button with 56o and both cards are black and I have about $500 in front of me and Mikey covers. He raises in the HJ to $7 and I make it $15. He calls and we see a flop HU. J72 with 2 diamonds. He checks, I bet $15 and he raises to $55. I think for a second and then I call. The turn is a 3d making a possible flush. He checks and I bet $75. He thinks for a bit and then calls. The river card comes out, Qs. He starts counting his donk bet. I have about $430 left and I decide that I'm instashoving on him as he counts out $100. Then he makes it $150 and I decide that I'm still shoving when he bets. Then he finally slides forward $175. I am no longer happy and I decide to abort the mission. I tell him if he bet $25 less, he was gonna get shoved on and that I still almost shoved on him and I show him my 6 high and no draw. He starts laughing hysterically (he's drunk) and he shows me KTo with no diamonds. I tell him "nice value bet sir"Despite playing well, I pretty much got raped for $500. Let's hear your thoughts on these hands.Yes Zach was playing, but he got 3 outered on the river in a big pot against the resident ******* at the table and went to play blackjack for a bit. He was mostly a non-factor in the game that Mikey and I were running.

Acid_Knight 2
I have never heard of a hand where some Value Towned KT like that... simply awesome.I still almost shoved on him. I was like "he's a good enough player to know that I can't shove without a flush or a set or something (6 high) here and he'll fold any 1 pair hands."It'd be so much of a better story if I did that. Zach6668 513
God I played so ****ing good last night. That ****ing douchebag trapped me SO good with his 85 on the 988Q board with his flop smooth call, and turn min raise, LMAO. Of course, my A8 is no match for his hand when the 5 rivers.Sighhhhhhhhhhhh.I did make a few nice moves against Mikey though, and I also stacked him in another pot. Somehow I lost 2 buyins, though. It's not like a stacked Mikey AND later put a sick bluff on him and showed it. I was a non-factor.I had some fun NL hands today, I'm gonna recap them in the BAW thread. ROBBBIGG 0
I assume it's a bit hard for some players to take seriously someone who keeps betting dark. Move up so they respect your raises
