Ottawa_Biatch 288
I don't mean physically CM Punk reminds me of Batista. I mean, he just has the same entertainment value as him. I just think his act can get old quickm such as Batista. When guys like the Rock or Trips can find new inovative ways to entertain
showstopper24 0
Why does the new women's title look like a two years olds? I think it's a little too girly...but I guess that's kind of cool.
mrpaddyx 13
It's fake? It is scripted, but I'd like to see you try what these guys do in the ring. I bet you wouldn't last 10seconds inbetween the ropes. Professional wrestlers are some of the best athletes in the world. Try to work out and eat like them 12 months a year without an offseason. These guys risk a lot in the ring, if it's faketry to find me a fake table or fake steel chair on ebay.com. It's funny how if someone other then a doctor tried to be an expert on a surgical procedure, they would get laughed at by not only the profession of doctors, but likely by society as well. Same thing as a chef, if somerandom joe were to say something about a meal, nobody would give two farts about it. Yet when it comes to wrestling, the only guys who seem to actually respect them are the actual wrestlers and true fans, society still doesn'tgive these guys the respect they deserve, they think it's a joke. It's sad, because I think if they were educatedjust a little on what these guys go through year round, they would change their mind in a heart beat. Sorry for the emo post, but it just pisses me off everytime I hear somebody say it's fake when they have no idea.Don't rise to the bait!!!! its not fake it scripted! Is the actor in a movie fake because he doesn't really die from that gun shot!
mrpaddyx 13
ANYWAY,here is my perspective,Dave vs CM Punk is not exactly the main event to set the heather on fire. I really don't think the fans will buy into this match and its a shame as both wrestlers have something to offer. Dave as in the 30 second match, a la Ultimate Warrior. CM Punk as the spirited underdog. I really hope they both prove me wrong at BATB but I fear a combination of poor booking, lacklustre commentry (TY Michael Cole) and lack of fan support means that this is a dead duck title match whom ever wins. Smackdown is a rare beast right now, they have loaded the brand with some talent, H-H-H, Edge, Umage (seriously underated in my view) on the basis that they are moving station in a few months. Just wait and see how quick Trips runs back to Raw as soon as the MYTV (or whatever its called) show becomes a ratings sucess. ECW was dead they day they removed Heyman from having any serious input. Which by my reckoning is the end of the 1st One Night stand PPV. If anyone thinks that Mark Henry, Kane and Chavo are World Championship material they are deluded. They should kill the brand now but won't whilst is still making money. Regardspaddy

I disagree 100% about Kane not being championship material. Although he has not been champion much in his past, all of his matches are great. I remember during one pay per view, Kane was in a regular non-title match and I expected it to be the most boring match of the night. However, Kane is very entertaining and the match was fantastic, even though it was a regular match with nothing on the line.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
I'm not the biggest Kane fan. I don't know why, I just don't find him that entertaining. Same with the Undertaker, never really a huge fan of his either. I'm not a huge fan of big guys in general to be honest. Cept for maybe the Big Show, I don't know why, but I actually don't mind his matches. I hope HHH stays on smackdown. I wouldn't say they are loaded with talent on that brand, but they have improved their roster significantly in comparison to pre-draft.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
And I wonder what they are going to do with the US Title since it is on ECW

kers2 0
I think they missed a big opportunity by not turning Batista heel and have him feud with Punk, on the basis that Batista "did all the work" and it was a "cheap win" for Punk. That could have been a bigtime feud to solidify Punk in the ME scene, and refresh the Batista character.Im not sure how the face v face match is going to work at the GAB. Although they could still do something with them on Monday. That being said, I havent been this excited about wrestling in a while. Punk cashing in MITB on Edge was gold, and Smackdown has been really good last couple weeks too

But I think Kane is the best one out of them. And I wonder what they are going to do with the US Title since it is on ECWI've been disapointed with the US title. It seems to me like it is never defended. All I can remember is that MVP had it for a long time and Hardy took it from him. They need more and better US/Intercontinental title matches. Same with tag matches for the title. I can't remember any because they aren't frequent and they suck. The last tag team title match I can remember is the four way ladder match between the Hardys, London/Kendrick, Regal and the other English dude, and MNM. It's the match were Joey Mercury's face got destroyed.Coolest thing about Kane was he turned up at my work a couple of years ago, see belowThat's cool. What do you do and why was he there? mrpaddyx 13
That's cool. What do you do and why was he there?I used to work for Sky Television in the UK. The WWE is one of the stations biggest rated shows and (When the WWE are in the UK) they sometimes bring one of the wrestlers in to meet some of the staff. It was pretty crowded when he was there so i didn't get a chance to talk to him but it was still pretty cool seeing one the the Wrestlers in my work.
GeneralGeeWhiz 0
I don't watch wrestling anymore, but when I did watch it was during the late glory days of the WWF. The corporation, the Rock, HHH. The fist PPV i ordered was the hell in a cell between HHH and mankind.

Then I quit watching, around the time the Rock left, and I started again about a week before Eddie Guerrerro died. It's worth watching Raw or Smackdown one more time. CardWarfare 4
Why does the new women's title look like a two years olds? I think it's a little too girly...but I guess that's kind of cool. The Diva title is the stupidest thing I've ever seen. Really poor idea. I don't see why they spread the divas over both shows and have them all compete for the regular Women's Championship. Not only would it keep the feuds more interesting, but we'd get to see all of the ladies at one point or another on either show. I'm always working Friday nights so I can never watch Smackdown, and I miss seeing Maria on Raw. Given, Kelly Kelly is a nice replacement, and I have a huge thing for Mickie James('s ass and tits), but still... It would spice things up a lot.Several other points..-Santino is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time in wrestling.-Does anyone have any idea when Orton is coming back?-I like Cena a lot more in the role he's been in lately. It seems like they've cooled down his push a little, which is nice.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
1) Santino is God. 2) Not too happy with Raw right now. To be honest, I'm starting to find it a little boring. CM Punk, Kane, and Batista shouldn't be running the flagship show or attempting too, imo. Not a huge fan of Cena, but I think he'd be better then any of those 3. I really wish they gave Michaels a push on raw. He deserves it. 3) Smackdown is actually better then Raw now at the moment, imo. Other then the fact that Khali won the mini-rumble thing. I just like all the directions they could with that show (HHH, Edge, Hardy). Plus they have a lot of young talent that could move up the ranks soon (MVP, Kennedy, even the new Brian Kendrick I really like).
CardWarfare 4
Also, yes. Kelly Kelly is possibly the closest thing to perfection that I've ever seen. Her and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls.

And I love Mickie James, but Kelly Kelly is perfect.I know it does't mean anything because they probably did the picture a long time ago, but Orton is on the poster for No Mercy which comes out in October. I love WWE but for the life of me, I cannot see why people think Santino is funny. I'll watch him more closely next time he's on, but I find him so boring that I normally change the channel. Also, yes. Kelly Kelly is possibly the closest thing to perfection that I've ever seen. Her and Nicole Scherzinger from the Pussycat Dolls.Kelly Kelly is, with out a doubt, the hottest person ever...and Velvet Sky (a wrestler from TNA) is second.
mrpaddyx 13
Mickie James and Kelly Kelly are both stunners but I still fast forward every single WWE Womens match. None of them can seem to work an even half decent match. In fact I've not been impressed with a womens wrestler in the WWE since Bull Nakano was kicking Aludra Blaze's ass many years ago. However it would only take 1 woman to change this, Awesome Kong. Promoted correctly, the WWE could make her the biggest woman's Wrestling superstar ever.

Their hotness was not the only reason why they will probably be considered two of the biggest divas in sports entertainment history, but they were both great wrestlers. I've watched a couple Awesome Kong matches and she is just big. I do think TNA's knockouts have some talent, and I DVR TNA just to watch them (Velvet Sky!).

The biggest selling points that they had were that Trish was really hot and Lita had that hurricirana which was pretty cool. But a complete match of excellence, no.

magnus72 0
All Trish ever did was through those stupid forearms and whip her hair around a lot. What about Mike Adamle as the new raw GM? He cant be any worse at this then he is at commentating.

The fact is I can't remember any of their matches as they were all so bland.
showstopper24 0
What about Mike Adamle as the new raw GM? He cant be any worse at this then he is at commentating. Not a big fan of this. I liked it when Teddy Long was the GM (of Smackdown). When good guys are GMs the matches are always entertaining, even if some of them are predictable. But with Vickie and Adamle, they go out of their way to annoy the fans. Also, I can't believe how far ECW is going down the drain. I just started watching today's ECW and Todd Grisham is the new commentator. Personally, I don't mind him, but I know a lot of people hate him so I'm wondering why he is here. But on a happier note, I think the new ECW title looks amazing.
Ottawa_Biatch 288
LOL, I didn't even know who Mike Adalme was. I for some reason thought it was going to be JR, lol. And thought he'd turn heel. Oh well. Who do you guys will fight CM Punk then @ Summer Slam? My money is on JBL, not who I want it to be, but I just feel it'll be him. If it can't be Cena or Batista, it likely will be JBL, Kane, or maybe even Jericho. Not huge fan of any of those 3 options.
