I feel that AK is much stronger at micro limits just cause so many people will stack off with terrible hands.I really dont like this spot because i feel like folding is weak/tight and calling is donkeyish. I would like to know what you guys thought process in these sort of spots are. At microstakes mine is 1. Is he loose, tight, station, or nit 2. what is my image or is he even thinkin about that 3. Pot odds, how often i need to be ahead to win 4. hand rangestalk to me
Novice26 0
I would normally fold this. You should bet more on the flop after tptk.

Anyways, 5.85 to win a pot of 14.05... about 2.5 to 1. I call here minus any significant reads and the fact that people at these stakes are more likely doing this with a draw or an ace with a worse kicker. My immediate thought processes for these hands are first pot odds, and then putting him on a range based on his actions and my perceived image of him.

Hell, he could've played A2. His AK doesn't beat many hands, especially after he called a preflop raise, flop bet, and went all in on the turn. Wait for a better situation. pdr87 0
You played the hand fine, standard. I'll fold this turn. Looks like he has you beat. You can find a better spot to exploit this guy.
cubsfan44 0
there is a thread somewhere on 2+2 that list "rules" for 6 max. They are almost always dead on correct. One of them is that if raised on the turn you need 2 pair to continue. Easy fold
