Zach6668 513
I've never understood the appeal of poker video games to anyone who is old enough to play poker online, or with buddies.

20TN40 0
Gah, have you played it or not? LOL Looking for Christmas presents for someone who has dial up and we all know that poker on dial up sucks! It's a Christmas present.......so let's try some holiday spirit and tell me if you've played either game and if you would recommend them as a PRESENT?
Royal_Tour 0
I won a free copy of stacked from FCP a while back. The game was never played, the box was never opened, and i'm pretty sure it found its way in the trash.so take option C, and get season 4 of HSP downloaded to your HD

Sheiky 0
In other news: I completely owned the poker game of 42 All Time Classics for the DS.
20TN40 0
In other news: I completely owned the poker game of 42 All Time Classics for the DS.Do you like DS? I also considered that as an option. He (brother in law) already has PS2 and requested a poker game for Christmas. I like him and all, but I ain't willing to fund his online gaming experience. Zach6668 513
lol, no, I haven't played either.I actually did get Stacked as well, but I also don't think I ever opened it.I can imagine it being somewhat good for the younger guys, though.
Sheiky 0
The DS is the best, far far better than the PSP imo.If he hasn't got one, i would highly reccomend that as a present if it's in your price range.Maybe you could just offer to play him HU instead of buying him a game? 20TN40 0
LOL does DN know all of you threw Stacked in the trash? Anyone still have one they'd like to sell or give away, if you're so inclined?PSP and DS are both in the range. But just looking at them, not having played either, I figured the larger screen on the PSP would be better. I was actually leaning more towards the games than a new system because that seemed like a "personal choice" type guess. Still looking though, so any help would be appreciated.PS: My Dodgers beat his Rockies over the weekend in MLB 2007 The Show

Cappy37 0
definitely buy a DS, they'll garner far more utility out of that than a poker video game.

finztotheleft 0
Bummer news for you .............. Best Buy had Stacked for $5.99 on Black Friday. I got it for my 11 year old for Xmas.Nintendo DS is good for younger kids. For a teen or adult, definitely go with the PSP. They can download music and videos onto it using it like an IPODFull Tilt issues gift certificates.
firingblind 0
I "acquire" free PSP games, and I have played the WSOP one on my murderous commute to work on the train... I've played Stacked on PC, and if Stacked is identical on the PSP, I'd say go with that. I just finished messing around with WSOP and wasn't a big fan. The AI in that game just doesn't make sense (not that it would ever compare to real play, but I've seen better), only the aggression level is more apparent with the "name" players. Whereas on Stacked, I found the AI to be a bit more intelligent than that, not always playing total trash and calling off the whole stack with 92o Bottom line, if he wants a challenge, I'd say Stacked. My 2 chips worth
