stack sizes and that isn't going to be exactly right, but i'll try.5 handed.villian is in the big blind. he has maybe 9000 or so. chip leading the table. I'm behind him at around, 7000, sitting in the CO. everyone else has about 2-4000.UTG folds. I have AKo. I raise to about 3500, which was 3.5x the blinds. I have a tight but aggressive image. the last hand i showed down was like, kings or jacks full or something. folds round to the big blind, who calls instantly. Villian doesn't usually play raggy hands like ace little or anything, and is fairly solid, but fairly careless. his starting hand selection pretty much includes most pocket pairs, and broadway cards. he is also fairly passive and doesnt reraise often, if at all.flop comes 7h 7s ks.pot is 8000.villian thinks for a while, looks a little confused, frowns... etc. checks. hero?

WTF?This is a)the stupidest/worst tourney ever in terms of structure etcb)the easiest shovel I have probably ever seen.I mean the pot is 8000, you have 3500 behind and TPTK.Also what is the reason you aren't pushing preflop?I don't know how this hand is a problem.

i didn't push preflop coz i guess i wanted a reraise or a call, knowing i'd be pretty good against most hands.
Well we're not folding our hand post flop.Never on this flop.

When blinds get this high I think a minraise preflop is better than a standard raise. It has the same ability to steal since people don't want to put a quarter of their stack in with nothing and it puts less of your stack at risk if you are stealing and get squeezed off. Since it's better for stealing, such a huge part of late turbos, I use it with both my steals and good hands in order to disguise them. If you're always raising 1/3rd of your stack preflop it isnt an optimal stealing strategy and if you only do it with good hands then its transparent.Flop is easy push.
