Starting out with a BR$130 $80 on UB. and $22.50 from PS. The $22.50 started from a free roll here on FCT. Place on final table. Unable to play in the grand tourney. Grabbed some $T. (Thanks BOB) and played Some $1-$5 tourney walking away with $22.50.Was playing some $1 Tourney and .02/04--.05/.10 limit and .02 NO-limit. Don't laugh we all have to start some place. On UB I was up around $120 hit a $2.20 MTT. Now down to about $60. The big shot played some $10-$20 tourney I should no of.On PS up around $27.00. Moved from .02/.04 up to .05/.20 lost $7.41. Bad play and tilt. landed back in .02/.04 tilted some more for about $4. Regrouped worked back to $18.37.Rethinking my game Going to stay in Limit Holdem .02/.04. Playing to many different games at first will drip away BR. BR is at $136 as of the end of November. Started november at $94. Finally started grinding out hands again, and all this profit is from .10/.20 LHE on stars. Ran at 2.21 BB/100 for almost 8K hands for the month.December continues my renewed dedication to LHE and building a bankroll. 500 hands per day minimum, 5K hands per week minimum, 20K+ hands for the month. I should be moving up to .25/.50 within the next 5K hands or so if my winrate holds, and I should be able to put in at least 15K hands at the new limit. If I can run at 2BB/100, I should be poised to move up again in January.Primary goal is 20K hands of LHE, though, and keep analyziing and gettng better. The winrate will take care of itself.

I'll edit this later after I have time to crunch numbers, but suffice to say, November blew. Played tired way too much, wasn't patient. No major tilting but quite a bit of leaking. I'm happy I got to see any profit at all. Also, got to watch my opponents catch two perfect cards on me twice in a week - sweetness:) Not that I'm bitter...Seriously, I had maybe slightly worse than average bad beats, but mostly I made too many bluffs and too many calls without spending enough time reading the situation properly and being patientIt's a good thing I've learned my lesson.Well, I should get back to my sngs. I ran very bad for the most part, I thought things were starting to turn around near the end of the month, then I got smacked in the face and lost 30 buyins in the last 2 days. I took a week off after my "roller coaster ride" which I shouldnt have done. I thought I was playing bad which I wasnt, just hit a rough patch. I did rework my game a little bit afterwards though, and I think that Im playing a little better now. Play a live cash game at least once, I played a self dealt tourney last night and that was just stupid.

November ResultsYeah, pretty much my best month ever, weeeee.Also +$370 live. I remebered how to win 6max.Didn't really play much HUDid Maintain GoldstarHave now pretty much moved up to nl100Played live 3 times, two tourneys and one cashgame. Lost at both tourneys, won at cash game.I should just not play tourneys, especially live self dealt tourneys.So got 4/5 goals.December GoalsI like not having a specific monetary goal so I'm not going to put one.I want to play at least 20k hands.Make Platinum star.Continue to play live occasionally.Depending on how I feel and how well I'm doing, take some shots at nl200 sometime this month.I want to try and play 1k HU hands, just because it's good for my game to practice.Also if I'm awake I might play the Sunday Hundred Grand this week.I also have to decide pretty quickly what I'm doing with my job. I'm about 50/50 about whether I want to quit my job before Christmas. This would mean I would most probably be living off poker from January until the end of March.

For me, November was a huge success. Finished the month up $12,619 despite barely getting in 20 hours a week. I also reached both my goals and since I ran well enough to make 1/2 early, I ended up making over 20,000 VPPs putting me well on my way to Supernova. I've had to make quite a few cashouts, so my BR's not huge, but it's still quite comfortable at 1/2.My goals for December are:1. Reach SupernovaYeah, it should be pretty easy at this point, but it was kind of a 2 month goal that I set last month so I still want to mention it. I've got 10,469 VPPs to go at this point. I was considering eventually moving more of my play to Bodog after hitting this goal, but it's so convenient to be able to use PT and 6-table, that I might just stick with Stars for a while.2. Get to 2/4 PLO by the end of the monthI figure that I want 40 BI minimum to play 2/4 comfortably, so that would require me to get my active BR up to $16,000. After cashouts, I've got just over 8K right now, so even if I make another $2,000 cashout this month, just winning as much as I did last month should get me there pretty easily. I did run pretty well last month, but I think that's counteracted by the fact that I didn't have the roll for 1/2 until 2 weeks ago.That's about all I really care about right now poker-wise. I'm not going to get anywhere near the 2007 goals that I set back in January, but I'm happy just to have my life back on track. If I continue playing under control at stakes I can afford, I should be able to do all those things in 4-6 months.

Didn't make 20k hands, I played terribly my first week at 50 and had to drop back down to 25 and reevaluate things. I'd dug myself a $400 hole right off the bat, so I had some work to do. Ended up with 15k hands total, and eventually did manage to scratch back to a small profit. I also played the $4.40 challenge, and took second place. Thanks to some shrewd dealmaking on my part, I took home about $300 for that, and won enough in the tourneys to cover the buyins and the entry fee for the challenge. With about $300 in rakeback earned, I should be close to my end goal for br when it comes in.Goals for December - 20k hands of 50plo, 2.5bb/100 winrate, 350-500 in rakeback. My initial goal was to reach to $50 dollars by the end of December, ended up with $209 by November.My new December Goal is to reach $625 and and take a shot in the 0.10/0.25 SH NL tables.Work on my fundamentals of No-limit holdem, try to win at about a 25% $VOIP and a 40% $VOIP. Lost $500 in a prop bet.Internet sucked and lost me a several hundred in disconnections from tournaments.Only played 2k hands each of PLO and NLHE because of connection problems.Overall it just wasn't a good month.Thankfully my internet is fixed now, and I should have time to put in a good number of hands. this is my 1st time actually setting a goal for myself.Now that i have enough in my account to sustain a sufficient bankroll for the limits i want to play (50NL), I can actually make an attempt to set goals and go after them while keeping proper BR management.So I had no goals for last month, but this November I have a few goals:-Have $750 profit-Play 10k hands of 50NL 6-max-Make it to my local casino at least 4 times (once a week)

well things didn't go too well in the NLH category. i ran hot to start then fell off the charts, bad plays, impatience and bad luck all rolled into one. 1/3 into the month i switched back to my true love, PLO. I also dabbled in 1/2 limit at times, just to make sure I wasn't losing my sharpness there as wellFor the month i played 2474 hands of 50NL and 897 hands of 1/2 limit. played 7188 hands of 50PLO as well for a grand total of 10559 hands at .25/.50 and above.(GOAL MET for hand total...just not all at 50NL)I started month with 1493 in account. transferred $100 to full tilt and built that up to $139 in tournies and a few hands of PLO (25PLO). My PS account is at $1989 (+280 in tournies, -303 in NLH, -34 in prop bets, +653 in PLO) for an ending total of +$635 I made it to the casino 4 times this month (GOAL MET). 1st trip took 2nd in tourney for +440. 2nd trip played 2-10, finished -300. 3rd and 4th trips were back to back days, went -265 in tournies and +473 in 2-10....GRAND total live = +348TOTAL MONTH PROFIT = +$983 (GOAL MET)other misc stats, cashed in 16/109 tournies for a 24.4% ROI. It was also my 1st month with a negative ROI in PLO in 5 months. very unhappy about that.Also became gold star on PS for 1st time ever.DECEMBER GOALSI will be in vegas (for college bowling rathar than to gamble...not to say i wont do any of THAT as well) from the 14th til the 21st. I Didn't make any November goals as I knew i wasn't going to be able to play much,I play 12 MTT's overall and had a ROI of 2% and a profit of $1 ship it!,Brought my bankroll above $600 this month mainly due to a friend I backed in a few donkaments doing well, This is kinda of a landmark Bankroll amount for me as it was the highest I built my Pacific roll before going on Monkey tilt and blowing it playing LHE.I also reached 100 Mtts played (took me 7 months lol) and my stats look decent, kinda concerned about my ITM % being too high though at 34% but i dealing with that by re-reading HOH2 and watching a bunch of PXF HHs focusing on the Bubble Area,December GoalsI've got exams until the 17th and am gonna *try* and not play at all until then,Aftet that however i'm going to start playing a set schedule of tournament per day to try and get a decent volume in before 2008,Assuming I follow Schedule i should be able to play 30-35 mtts,I'm off college til the middle of January so this is the 2nd biggest free block of time I have for improving my game, I hope to pick up some momentum and put myself in a good position going into the new year.Specific Goals:Final Table the $2.20 6-Max donkament,Final Table the 5k Guaranteed on Sunday,Win my first online tournament,Break Irish Top 10 in P5s Rankings,Sat-in and play atleast 2 100k's,Try and play atleast 4 live tournies, Build Roll enough to be able to comfortably play the next $4.40 challenge,

xposted from thread i started:I haven't figured my totals for November yet, but I had my first losing month since returning to the game.Much of this I blame myself for, but I also ran bad, which didn't help my hu tilt issues.I do know my poker goals though for Dec. Primarily they include not tilting when I'm playing hu cash games. I'm tired of costing myself 10s of thousands of dollars. I need to act more professional when I'm playing, and not just goof off.I have some leaks I believe that I also want to fix, and so I'm primarily going to play 2/4 HU and 3/6 6max. I'm really going to try and grind out a good month and just focus on playing well and really concentrate on my emotions when I'm playing. Money wise, whatever happens happens, but I know that if I control my emotions, results usually follow positively.I may go to Atlantic city here this first week, I'm not sure...but if I do, obvious goal is to win a donkament.Life goals: Well, month off school...I want to get in my application to do volunteer time at Children's Hospital. I've been wanting to do this for a while now, and I really am going to try and do it this month. It takes about 1 month to be accepted/trained, so we'll see. My girlfriend is going to Ethiopia in middle january, so I want to have a few other things to occupy my time while she is gone, including more volunteer time with things that are more important (in my eyes) than school or playing online poker. That being said, I really have no excuse to not do this.Secondly, I need to start preparing for my trip to Africa, which will be in June. I prob don't need to post this now, but I'm proposing to my gf either this month, or in january before she leaves. We've been talking about getting married in Africa the next summer, so here goes the plunge. Am I ready? Probably not, but I'm excited and she's the one I never thought I'd meet at the time I did.Anyways, that's that. After a blackjack incident, I went busto last month for the first time in 2 years.I redeposited $50 and hope to run that up to at least $150 this month. Playing SSNLHE, this should easily be achievable.edit: No more blackjack ever.

I ended the month at $530, and that's including the $150 loss yesterday! I'll be getting $115 in rakeback so my roll is up to about $650.Best of all, no BJ! I made a bit more than 9k, after I get all my rakeback figures, etc.EDITED TO ADD: The official total was $9,061.38.November was easily my best month ever, as my previous best was $5774.For December, I'll be in Vegas for one week, and with all the Christmas celebrations, etc, I probably won't play as much as I should, but I hope to make about 5k, continuing to play HU LHE.
