December Goals

Spiraling a little bit since the prop bet night. I lost $500 on my normal sports bets the next day, then put $1,000 on the Patriots and lost that. Then today, I decided to buy-in direct to the $1050 Sunday Million and went out pretty early with KK vs. AA. After that, I found my way to a 30/60 triple draw table. Got stuck about $3,000 there before getting half of it back and quitting. Finished down $3300 for the day counting my PLO. I've still got almost 30 buy-ins for 1/2 on Stars so I'm not in horrible shape, but if I were smart, I'd ban myself from Stars for a week until I settle down. Since I'm not smart, I'm just going to try to get drunk tomorrow night as far away from a casino or my computer as possible, deposit some more money to bet on the New Year's bowl games and then probably go back to grinding on Wednesday.

It looks like I am going to be ending up about $860 for this month assuming I dont play any tomorrow when I get smashed for the new years. Fully rolled for 2/4 limit and hopin to get up to 3/6 by feb/march. With rakeback which I wont get until mid January I should be well over 1k for the month after I adjust my totals.

wow @ those 2+2 graphs.to add, today i watched greenstein, ivey, bennyamine and alezra and a few others who i didnt know, play 4000/8000 stud. at venetian. was entertaining. also, i finished off my month just short of $6,500

Dec is done. I had a really good month, I'm pretty sure it is my best month ever.My goal was to get my BR to $600, I've cleared that, I'm currently at just over $800. It could have been a lot more if I didn't tilt-off 8 buy-ins at $25nl yesterday. I couldn't fade the donks, it was ridiculous. Running into coolers and bad beats like crazy, and then started to tilt. I probably could have saved 3 or 4 buy-ins if tilt hadn't taken over. No worries though, I had a great day today, gained about $180.Dec Highlights:1. Won a seat to the Sunday million2. Simo, I think you need to do a little less posting and some more playing. I average about as many hands in 2 days as you've played in the last week and a half. Well, I've just been averaging that for the last couple weeks. Don't have any 75K hand months yet. Still though, you need to get on the stick.

Totally missed this post.Yeah, this has always been my problem. Every now and then I can put in a reasonable session, but I'm actually the most undisciplined person (aka lazy) you could meet.I'll wake at 9am, get up at 10am, get showered/dressed, have breakfast, get distracted for an hour, then I'll realise that it's almost lunch, etc. etc.One of my 2008 goals is to finally focus and play a set number of hours a day. It's not like I don't have the time.Overall, December was disappointing after a good start. I really should have put in more hands, and I played poorly in the last couple of weeks. Losing over 12 buyins in less than 500 hands yesterday didn't help. That put more than a little dent into my month.Someone do a January Goals thread.

I started the month playing bad, then I took a few days off. Eventually halfway through the month I started playing SNGs and beat them up pretty nicely.I played 197 $6+1s for a ROI of 47.25% after bonus and rakeback and 109 10+1s for a 41.61% ROI. I also cleared a PSO promotion for $120 worth of their points. After bonus, rakeback and PSO points I am going to finish the month up just over $1100, which is my best month ever!

Finished December with almost $4,000 in profit, in barely 5,000 hands, lol.I finished 2007, profiting somewhere around $38,800 or so.Will be back to post the exact totals once my rakeback stats are updated, hopefully tomorrow.Looking forward to a 6-figure 2008.
