So far I am set to have one of my best months ever still. Up around $500 with rakeback at 1/2 limit...Even weathered a 150BB downswing which makes me happier than being up on the month.

Well, after 23 days I'm finally in the black for the month. If I can show a profit of a couple hundred dollars I'll be happy.Oh yea SNGs are easy.40.8% ROI and 53.2 ITM over about 125 games.

well i have been getting eaten up this month. no longer playing 200NL fr because of a wicked bad downswing that right now amounts to about 2k. 3 or 400 of it is from tournies though too. i have been successful at a lot of satellites these past few weeks but when i play the sunday mill or the daily 100k i dont get anything going at all. my KK has been getting cracked and my AA has been running into AA.... just frustrating stuff. I am at 100NL and trying to get to goldstar this month so i can actually be platinum because of the fcp bonus. i have 1k more vpp to go but i dont want to go busto in the process. I am really thinking about overhauling a lot of things i have been doing. namely record keeping. I am going to purchase PT and PAHUD, amazing i havent yet. and i also think i will subscribe to pxf. i have a subscription to cr but i feel like i just need some tourny specialists i can look how they approach these big buy in tournies. i think looking through every hand in a tourny will be very helpful. this will be a hit to my br but i think it is well worth it. I may be at 100NL again for awhile but whatevs. As long as i am improving as a poker player i am ok with this plateau. this upcoming year's goals will be forthcoming. i think more of a concentration on tournies, maybe sat into a WSOP event. just increase my br steadily. we will see. if there are any other suggestions i can do to improve in terms of record keeping or educational material suggestions would be greatly appreciated. i feel the need for some coaching or mentoring but dont have access to it. .. poker can be rough sometimespeace

Specific Goals:Final Table the 5k Guaranteed on Sunday,

Eww, came 25th out of 2713 in this yesterday going out 66<A6 for $30Felt good to go deep in a NL tourney again though, plus it makes my 120 day opr.com ROI in NLHE positive again .I've given up trying to get the 100 FPPs for the promotion, It would require me playing 8+ tourneys a day for the 5 days (27th-31st) which is not something i wanna do,Also had my longest non-cash streak so far of 8 tourneys from the 19th to the 22nd but followed that up with 3 cashes so it's all good.

Wow, Dec has been fantastic, probably my best month ever.I started Dec out with a sat win to the sunday mil. But decided to sell the seat for the badly needed BR influx. From there I've played quite a few SnG's with results that are just ridiculous. Including tournies and SnG's, my ROI for dec is over 200%.My goal for this month was to reach $600. At the time, I mentioned I thought it was a conservative goal. It was, my BR is not at $700.This has been a fantastic return to poker for me. I genuinely feel like I'm playing better and better every day.I won't be playing much more before the end of the year. I managed to get silverstar for the current FCP/Pokerstars promotion, so I will be goldstar for Jan. That's pretty cool, now I'm going to have to figure out how to take advantage of it. Overall...running at 2BB/100 this month at all limits...more specifically just over 1BB/100 at 1/2 shlhe...I need to just play 2 more days to reach iron man for the month which is a good start to how I want to play next year. Still have some leaks in my game I need to clean up before I start looking at 2/4.

You might be a degenerate if...you decide to play a quick session on Christmas to try out your new headphones, get stuck 25 buy-ins and don't get up until you get every penny back. Well, I took a quick break for dinner, but other than that it was all poker. At least I didn't chase my losses though. Had maybe 100 hands of 2/4 at the very beginning, but the rest of the graph is all at 1/2.

Nice comeback. Seeing those graphs always make me feel a lot better about dropping 5 or 10 buyins in a session because it reminds me that you can win it all back and a lot more when you're running good.December has kinda trailed off for me. Ran good at the start, but haven't been able to put in back to back winning sessions in a while.Hopefully will be up at $100pl with a full roll by Jan 1st though. That's the aim anyway.

Well, I was playing too many tables to start the session. I was only 4-tabling, but 3 of the tables were HU and I was making a lot of stupid mistakes due to forgetting the action, misclicks from trying to play too fast, etc. Really, I think one HU table takes about as much concentration as 3 6-max tables. Anyway, I might have tilted a little bit after that, but not much. I was pretty calm and I really didn't know quite how much I was down. One thing I did wrong was stay at some really bad 6-max tables though, because I was paying too much attention to my HU table to pay attention to game selection though.The guy I played later HU that got me even was tilting like a mother f*cker though. After he got stuck, he started getting all-in on the flop with hands like middle pair, no draw. He lost $4600 to me in 4 hours, but of that the first $4400 was in the first 2 hours, and then I spent the next 2 hours battling him back down after he built up a decent stack and calmed down a little.

Here are my 4-6 handed stats since July:I actually do better HU and 3-handed, but that's not really what you're looking for, plus I don't want to post my HU stats in public and have one of my opponents for the 2+2 tournament stumble on to them and be able to scout me. (It's a $2000 buy-in tournament, but I'm taking half of the satellite bracket, so I'm only buying in for $1,000.)

im in France right now and its pretty sweet, but I just tried to play poker and was so rusty it was scary. I felt like a complete donk instead of the partial donk that I usually am. Scary how like 4-5 days of low to no playing can screw me over so bad poker wise.

yeah i do. i probably shouldn't post this on a public forum, but i don't really care so ill say it. hes the guy who the good players don't play cause they are either friends with him or take too much stock into everyone else's opinions of him/his selective blog posting. he is the guy who only plays fish and wins and then is proclaimed a god by everyone. he is also the guy who openly mocks Phil Ivey in chat boxes, hits and runs people whenever they get over 2 buy ins, and wins a million in 1 month by running hotter then the sun, takes a bad beat for 6K, and then bitches about it. that probably wasn't the most politically correct thing i have ever said, but i could hardly care about that, its online poker. This has nothing to do with me, and I do believe he is a very good player and is much better then me, just not the god that everyone makes him out to be.
