Jadaki 0
lolSo Wade needs to average just over 13 rebounds a game for the rest of the year just to be first loser?Actually I had the stats wrong, it wasn't a rebounding stat. It was 2k points, 500 assists and some number of steals Wade was the 5th ever to do in a season.

SilentSnow 1
Apparently Lebron is the chosen one, because no one in the media is picking up on the obvious fact that Cleveland feasts on the bad teams, but doesn't do nearly as well against the good ones.Cleveland is only 11-8 versus the top 10 teams in the league.Worse, they are 2-6 versus the other 3 top teams. BigDMcGee 3,355
I just heard a funny stat today. Lebron is leading cleveland in every major statistical category. The team with the best record in the east, lebron is leading every catagory on. If that's not most valuable, I don't know what is.

If that's not most valuable, I don't know what is.who should win MVP each year is always a debate. is it the best player or most valuable? sometimes it's not the case but the Cavs are no. 1 and Lebron is a fantasy league monster so it seems pretty clear to me.but I'm preparing for the LJ haters to retort

fleung22 1
holy crap, Lebron and the Cavs just killed the Spurs (they better count as top ten). and that's without Varejao. should stop the haters for at least a day eh?now I'm watching the Suns-Mavs game...reminds me of playing a video game. I think FG% is 67% vs. 70% near the end of the 1st quarter. even the commentators are making fun of the zero defence by saying "first to 200 wins" haha. Phoenix has hit an all time low for defense for sure though. they're averaging 120 points against in their last 10 road games...that's gotta be a record if there was such a 10-game tracking tool. regardless, I'd like to see the Suns sneak into no. 8 so we can have a Shaq vs. Kobe storyline. The Spurs still aren't the Spurs of old, a home win over them isn't hugely impressive. How does an MVP candidate let his team get rolled by 40 against another top conference opponent when they are trying to lock up home court. OMG the Cavs didn't win 13 or 14 in a row they crazy suck! LOL you never disappoint my frienddude, it's sports...things just happen. in the length of a season you'll have 2-3 games where everything is gold regardless of who you're playing and then you'll have 2-3 games where you can't beat a high school team. nobody thinks the Lakers suck just because they have this weird losing record vs. the Bobcats. it just happens. Jadaki 0
I don't know who that is but he sounds Americanand I find that offensive...damn AmericansThe commentator who you just quoted nearly word for word on his "bad games during the season" theory.I'm a bit lazy to do it right now, but I'd be curious to see if any of those Bulls championship teams got completely steamrolled like the Cavs did the other night. I would think they would manage to be up for playing a big game against a likely playoff opponent on the road. It's not like they weren't playing for anything, home court isn't locked, Record vs top teams in the league is in question, they had just come off a bad loss, and then they lay a complete egg. It's not so much a knock on Lebron as it was their team as a whole, but if your gonna give him all the credit for them winning then he can eat the blame for embarrassing losses too. I'm amazed at the Cavs not because I think they're one of the greatest all-time teams (like the Bulls you mention). No, I'm shocked because looking at the team at the beginning of the year (and still now) I don't know how the hell they keep winning other than the fact they have Lebron. They're simply better than their parts and the only glue is LJ. Veteran Kobe never had a great team after Shaq left but then the Lakers' results pretty much reflected that. It just makes sense that an allstar like Kobe will do well with guys like Gasol, Odom and a bunch of role players.I just feel like James has done much more in his career with much less. It's scary to think where he'll be in another 2-3 years if he stays healthy.

Getting swept out of the first round of the playoffs. But Lebron isn't competing against Michael Jordan for MVP anyway. Did I mention he's leading the team with the best record in the league in every statistical category? Doesn't that seem insane to anyone else?
