keith crime 8
yes, but I think you could say the same about Dwight Howard. fact is, until you have it you don't have it. there's a reason Kobe won MVP for the first time in his career.i think dwight howard would be unstoppable if he could hit a free throw

Before you just had to worry about him dunking, now he is actually getting footwork and some post moves. He could easily be the most dominate player in the league within a year or two. CaneBrain 95
I'm really not sure why Beasley hasn't been given more opportunity in Miami. Is his defense really THAT bad!?Moon will drive you crazy. He makes plenty of bad decision shots at the most crucial times and he's not that guy on most nights. Also, what doesn't show up on the stat sheet is the fact he bites on pump fakes SO badly. It's also the reason he gets so many blocks but he can't recover from his leap quickly enough. Players go right around him or draw fouls. IMO Beasley should have plenty in the tank since he hasn't played that much yet and the confidence from playing him more would more than make up for any deficiencies at this point. I guess you have to weigh the importance of the 4/5 seed and making it 1 more round in the playoffs vs. the chance Beasley adds enough to improve the team THAT much more in the next 5 weeks.I have already seen Moon do the bad shot routine but it is only a shot a game. Playing with a dominant guy like Wade he seems to be reining it in. And his ability to catch alley-oop passes is big in the Heat offense. I have no idea why Moon is a bad defender. Watching him play he should be a great defender. Maybe he just needs more coaching.Beasley can look lost sometimes....but I suspect Spolestra is also being a little too old school (I want to be like Pat Riley). Against a team like Cleveland, whose best offensive players are all in the backcourt, it is criminal to bench him for the whole 4th quarter. He may not be a defensive wiz but he can score in bunches and the Heat need a 2nd option. (Jermaine Oneal wont cut it.)I think you just let Beasley learn already. The Heat are not winning a title this year.....and they are not going to miss the playoffs without a total collapse (since they probably only need 10 more wins tops to get in). keith crime 8
Jason Richardson learned tonight that maybe the 360 dunk isn't a good idea with Lebron on the courtlol Lebron denying he knew that last rebound gave him his third triple double in a row - he went after that one harder than that jump ball with Pierce in last year's playoffs. keith crime 8
The game turned on one remarkable play.Phoenix was down 97-95 and had the ball for what looked to be a breakaway layup, but Jason Richardson decided to go for a 360-degree spin dunk. James raced from far behind and soared to block the attempt.
BigDMcGee 3,355
3 straight triple doubles. Lebron and Wade are must see TV right now, they are openly going for the MVP right now.

Lebron and Wade are must see TV right now, they are openly going for the MVP right now.Not to mention one is trying to lock up the #1 seed in the East while the other is trying to get homecourt in the 4/5 matchup. fleung22 1
LeBron James has rewritten the history books each season in the NBA and this season moved into another elite category as he joined Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history with 2,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists in at least four seasons. Impressive and fact.

Second round collision course of the top two MVP candidates.Miami sucks on the road and keeps blowing winnable games. Philly is going to pass them and the Heat are going to get stuck with the Magic in round one.....and they just cant cover Dwight Howard. Sigh.I think things are lining up great for Cleveland. They wont have any trouble with the 8 seed or the winner of ATL/Philly. Then, they get Boston after the Celts have to deal with Orlando (an annoying team to cope with). Its a very manageable road to the finals.edit: oops. looks like Boston might be the 3 seed. Crap. They might sweep Miami. Terrible matchup.

Jadaki 0
Wade only has 354 rebounds...ESPN reported last week he was the 5th player to ever do the 2k/500/500 this season along with Roberston, Jordan, James, and Bird.
CindyLou 11
lolSo Wade needs to average just over 13 rebounds a game for the rest of the year just to be first loser?
