20TN40 0
Can the next guess be, "How many people in the freeroll have been registered at FCP for longer than a week"? Please? I'll take 2% for the win!
Brissie 0
I played this week in all 4 Freerolls and until today it was great even so I did not win! I only recently signed up with FCP. I got to the Forum because I looked for info about Daniel (big Fan of him). I play Poker Stars all the time and was really looking forward to this Tourneys after I received the invite by e-mail.Tonight I felt I had done something wrong to take part because I haven't been a member long and not posted much! If it is a pre-condition how many post, then please state this in the e-mail.Not sure if I like to play againBrissie

These freerolls have made tons of people flock to them, most not even knowing a forum exsisted (they still don't) and they are playing in these tourneys that are meant to build our proud and strong community. If you are lookiing to become one of "us", we would truly welcome you. (everybody here is actually really nice, with a few exceptions of course), but most people see all these new people as people who don't want anything to do with us, but will be here as long as the free stuff is being given away and will leave the minute it's gone. You have to understand where everyone is coming from.

20TN40 0
Here's the rub.....some of us were under the impression (however wrong this may turn out to be) that this was an FCP promotion. So we assumed (I know how that goes) that it would be for the regular FCP members, not just people joining just to get in on the freerolls. But we all look at the final tables and hardly recognize anyone from FCP.I'm sure that a helluva lot of folks joined here initially because they were a fan of DN, but then we got to talking on the forums and we actually LIKE each other...........well, mostly. So yes, we do get defensive when we believed this was for US....not just anyone who googled up FREEROLL and doesn't participate in the forums.

crazyIvan 0
And the marketing engine rolls on.......The freerolls aren't to reward the dedication of people to FCP, it's to generate new members.

We got them to provide those benefits and it will mostly be FCP Forum members who gain those benefits. If Poker Stars marketing wasn't involved there would be no money to provide the promotion to begin with. You always need new blood coming into poker sites and poker forums. Without it they whither. Would you care to expand on how that happens?I'm not trying to stir anything up here, just wondering how FCP members gain from this.
