SBriand 4
OP, looking at your profile here on FCP, I found it interesting that 3 out of the last 4 posts you made were bashing Daniel. My question is this, if you dislike him so much, why do you post here?To piss people off and get them all riled up. It's not hard to do on this site. You seem to be taking him seriously. He knows exactly what he is doing and probably laughing about it.

Chicago99 0
I have two pieces of evidence that support the OP's theory:1. DN used to play in the "big game" but a month ago I saw him at $.50/$12. A poster with >100 posts called DN out and he didn't immediately challenge "Heads up for rollz"sw obv
theinvestor 0
Personally, I think once Daniel becomes a scratch golfer, he'll be able to restart his poker career anew, with a newfound vigor and zeal that will bring him that bracelet that eluded him the last 3 years... hmmm...I guess the real danger in "Daniel is Done" is the fact that he could, completely and utterly, retire to some vacation island spot tomorrow and spend the rest of his life golfing and sipping mai tais on the beach. It *could* happen. Wouldn't it be nice to have that luxury?it is very nice!!!!!!!
El Guapo 8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UgficQpYE4Wigidiwigiddi wack! Backwards pants ftw!Don't you dare compare the illustrious career of Kid n Play to the Jump brothers.
Jambot 0
I'm not comparing careers, just their visionary backwards pants revolution and ability to say wigidywiggidy wack!

onlyme386 0
Normally I do not like seeing pros at my table, but he has fallen into a class with a few other pros that I love to see at my table as I lick my chops and know exactly how to extract their money from them.Yeah man, I love it when a pro sits at my 1/2 game to blow off steam. It's so much fun!!! I wish DN would do it more often!
SBriand 4
Nice try but no. I was wanting some kind of a response from the OP. I chose to call him out similar to the way he called out Daniel...get it? A little Irony? ok, moving on.It wasn't a personal attack, just a comment based off your comments. And no I don't see the irony. A troll, like the OP won't care about your post unless you called him names and freaked out a bit.

Jam-Fly 8
Meh, lost in all they drama of his post, there are a couple good points. I think in general, the live pros made a huge miscalculation as to how the online players would affect the poker world. It took them far too long to figure out that the game had changed significantly and that many of the best NLHE players in the world were making a ton of money as "online players". I remember the days of who is better the average "online player" or the average "live player" and no one was really sure. It is fairly obvious now what the answer is and it really isn't close. At the top of the game it is a lot closer between the two but at mid and lower levels it isn't even close. I don't think Daniel has lost it but I think the field has caught up significantly.Yeah, I agree. The internet players are, in general, superior to the live pros in the poker sense. However, I think the live players have alot more life experience and poker exp (not that they have logged more hands, just that they have more exp in the poker world.) Alot of internet 'whiz kids' lack life experience and poker experience. They may be technically better at the game, but there are other factors needed to succeed in the poker world. Specifically, (this is more of a pet peeve than anything else but I thought this is a good place to mention it) I think online players are disrespectful and arrogant towards live players. E.g. Sammy Farha----->DONK!! lolololololol. He raised utg with A7o!!!!! ROFLcopter Alot of the negative feelings aren't justified (e.g. Tuan Le is a lagtard) but even when they are, they don't have to be put in such a childish and insulting way, I mean, come on, "ROFLcopter", wtf? what sad individiual came up with that?Anyway, back on topic. I think DN specifically, is still one of the best out there. There are "top live players" that are actually "top live players". Guys like Greenstein, Cunningham, Wasicka and Negreanu seem to understand the game well and play it well, while other "top live players" like TJ Cloutier, Tom McEvoy and Victor Ramdin are not great players or are 'has-beens' or haven't adapted their games enough to succeed in this day in age. I think Negreanu falls into the former category. When on his game, DN is an amazing live player. He reading of players is world class, a skill which I think is under rated by online players. Reading ability is alot more than just 'reading' the guy, table feel, intuition, assesing the situation all fall under 'reading' too imo. Even though there are still alot of top online players (Imperium, Mr.Menlo, apestyles just to name a few) still to get some serious public recognition, many others have taken down big live tournaments, (Annette - WSOPE, Bel0wAb0ve - WPT title, BigRissky - WPT title) and now it is up to themselves to market themselves. So, conclusion, -Skill=> Online players>Live players-Skill doesn't always = recognition/money-DN is not a donk
