itwassuited 0
This question may be hard to answer due to its general nature, but ill give it a shot. If you were to start with $300 and were to committed to play .5/1.00 till u had $600 to move up to 1/2 how long would it take. I really want to build a bankroll this summer through discipline cuz i usually get up $500 in a few days playing well over my bankroll and eventually bust.So basically how long will it take to move up in levels considering I am playing at limits much smaller than I normally do. Any estimates would be spectacular. Thanks!PS Its gonna be the Pary .5/1 game and I will probably 2 table

PhishForChips 0
If its limit, make sure you have enough to chase with.
allinbluff35 0
If its limit, make sure you have enough to chase with.seriously, you have no clue how to play LHE. LHE is about exploiting ANY edge no matter how small, NLHE is about exploiting large edges while avoiding marginal ones.
waldo 0
depends on how many hands you play per hour, with four tables in around 240 hands per hour so it will take 40 hrs of play with a win rate of 3 bb per 100 hands.
itwassuited 0
I have never really played limit holdem, I have been successfull at NL. My problem is $300 is not really an appropriate roll for any NL game on party is it. The 25 nl game has .1/.25 blinds and is pretty gay imho

While you can get buy with only 12 buyins I prefer to have about or around 20-25 buyins because I don't like to nut peddle all day long and actually like to play an aggressive game. DECKtheRIVER 0
I started on .5/1 and now play 3/6 & 2/4 , make more on the 2/4 on party because of the number of fish and free cards you can earn by raising you draws, the basic plays work a lot better for me on 2/4, anyways the first year i played i only made 2Gs now ive made 7 so far this year. When i started i played .5/1 and 25nl but i also took some of my profit and started playing multi-table tournys and got lucky one night and finished 4th and won $550this helped my bankroll and gave me breathing room. play your rings games but also try the cheap buy in tourneys. I still play the $5-10-20 Multies and have twice earned a grand off of a five buck entry. if you a not into tourneys just take you time and don't rush it, play your best and the next time play better and in time you will succeed. There are 2 many bad players out there not to win, and don't complain about beats because if someone sucks out on you with runner-runner just think of all the money you are making in the long run when they make those plays. Bet you winners on the low limit tables and you will get called. Good Luck building your bankroll JUST DON"T FORCE IT. MONEY = GOOD PLAY GIVEN TIME

Ebonwoulfe 0
I agree with this guy, play a $5 tourney every now and then, and if you get lucky and make a big score you've got breathing room. All you risked is like half a pot
