Mercury69 3
So, some of you read the Onion, but all of you should. The AV section, imo, is a benchmark in (relatively) objective critique of film, music, literature, etc.A fairly recent and lengthy effort from one of their writers finds the scribe with a box of VHS/DVD and, perhaps, even some Beta versions of films that are being given a new look. My Year of Flops recently featured a review of Home of the Brave, a review I found so funny, I had tears in my eyes. Not just due to the writing, but for the sheer pleasure of honest appraisal skewering the faults of this film.So I thought I'd share...http://www.avclub.com/content/blog/my_year...se_file_77_homeThere are, thus far, 77 reviews you can read like this, as well as archived reviews of most significant (and some less than's). Mercury69 3
Oh, I thought this was going to be about the Laurie Anderson concert video.
