Flop QQx...turn and river both x's. (NOT a cleverly hidden bad beat post!) Out of curiosity, one of the players asked the dealer after the hand was over if there was an A as one o the burn cards, and the dealer sadly turned over the A as the last burn card. I had two outs twice for the bad beat jackpot (52k).That got me thinking....does anyone have any good stories involving being part of a bad beat jackpot at any time? Link to post Share on other sites

Actually at first I didnt know what hapend, all I knew was that my full house didnt hold up. I had 10s under on a 3 A board and guy next to me had AK. On 6th, my buddy got the ace of hearts, pairing his door card, which was also the card i was looking for. I even said, dude, you caught my miracle, when I caught the 6H. Turns out the A(H) gave my friend aces full and I got my 6 high strait flush. We didn't even know it was a jackpot game, but it was still a decent $250 in a $20 buy in game. He got all excited for his set but then saw my bigger set and got real quiet. Brick on the turn and then bingo 9 on the river. I lost the 300 pot, but won a bad beat jackpot of almost twice that. Their bad beat is pocket aces losing to a boat or better. An hour later I got all my money back too when he pushed 9's again, this time into KK. Link to post Share on other sites

AA< QQ, quad queens. Aces cracked gets $60, so while we were waiting for it to be confirmed, I looked at the next card in the deck, which was an ace.
