Tactical Bear 3
WAR DAMN EAGLE.A friend of mine in college had a buddy that went to school there, and whenever he came to town -- about once a year -- he demanded we all speak with southern accents so he'd stick out less in Ann Arbor. I could say two things in Southern:"War Damn Eagle"and"Icebox"I keep those two sharp, just in case. WAR.DAMN.EAGLE

BigDMcGee 3,355
I'm a pretty big Michigan fan. And I really, really, really hate the SECWhat do you think of the Rich Rod era? The vast majority of Mich fans I've talked to hate it.

Whats the point in hating it when he hasn't even coached a game yet?Once he gets his own recruits in there, they will be way better than WVU ever was with him. There is no Pat White type of guy on the Michigan roster this year so it will be interesting to see how it goes.
Jrobb25 0
Anyone see Tim Tebow call in to Dr. Holtz last night? Please Teabow start taking advice from Holtz the SEC will be a lot happier place if u do.

He actually has a strength training program in place. Michigan will be better this year than people expect, partly because the athletes he has are finally going to be in good shape. I loved Carr but he was almost a little too nice.

Jadaki 0
Really? Every Michigan fan I knew hated Carr. I hated Carr so much. He was so conservative and stupid.I liked him. There were times I wished he wasn't so laid back when it seemed like they needed a good kick in the ass and he didn't give it to them. That's why I like this move to RR, he seems to be the exact opposite on the intensity scale and that's probably what the program needs.

Jadaki 0
shocked they never had one before....I assumed all major programs did this in the offseasonThey did but RR is sort of notorious for having a pretty rigid off season program.
Tactical Bear 3
They did but RR is sort of notorious for having a pretty rigid off season program. And Lloyd Carr doesn't believe in things like free-weights or throwing on both first AND second down.
Jrobb25 0
Say what you will but, there is just not a better conference top to bottom. As an Auburn fan I HATE Alabama but they kicked the shit out of clemson and it's just no suprise. Our 2nd tier teams are better than most 1st tier....Ie last 2 Nat championships weren't even close. The SEC needs to leave the NCAA and start its own league. It's just that much better.
Freddec 0
Clemson, and the rest of the ACC is just an absolute joke. I remember like 4-5 years ago when FSU and Miami joined the ACC everyone (including myself) thought this would be a good thing for the overall strength......its actually been the complete opposite. I think they've lost like 9 straight BCS bowl games and have NO significant out-of-conference wins (oh wait wake forest beat baylor thurs night)ACC, GTFOBig Ten, Big East, almost GTFOPac10, Big 12, respectSEC, deliversthats all

This weekend is our first test of the season, ask me Sunday but USC and Oklahoma look strong early on, but we still have a long season ahead.

Maybe I mean when u have a brand new scheme it's gonna be hard at first. But show mw a better defense. No one tackles better than Auburn. I guess we will see how good they are on sat against LSU. But SEC 5 teams in top 10. LOL at the rest of the confrences. The SEC should just leave the NCAA and play against themselves.\WAREAGLE

I would really just like to watch SEC teams play Big 12 teams all year and throw in USC thats all we really need to see!

Jadaki 0
2008 bowl games...Michigan 41 vs Florida 35Missouri 38 vs Arkansas 72007 bowl games...Tennessee 10 vs. Penn State 20Arkansas 14 vs. Wisconsin 17That's 3 loses in bowl games to Big-10 teams in the last two years, but that should be ignored just because OSU lost in the title game twice.
