When Childs folded the queens. Everything that happened afterwards happened because of that.
Not to mention when he had Jerry dead with a higher pair PF when they were down to 2 tables... Lee Childs created this Frankenstein.. It's all on his head. I hope it burns when he pees./thread.

This gets my vote. I actually had to rewind this on my TiVo the first time because I honestly couldn't believe that was what she was doing.Meanwhile, I initially thought RainKhan was a complete douche but after letting it settle in I kind of find him amusing now...way more so than the religious antics, anyway.
I did the same thing!I thought to myself, "Did she really just PRAY for a Double Up... and then go ont to quote some scripture to The Father and ask for Him to make her a Believer?!?!" Quoting scripture asking for a Double Up?!?!...quoting that scripture made me think of Samuel L. Jackson in "Pulp Fiction"..."The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."...effing RIVER!!!

Somehow they forgot that the God they are praying for a double up is the same God that has a little problem with gambling. Jerry Yang believes God allowed him to win so he can do good with the money, but I am sure it was the guy with horns and pitchfork.

This has been covered many times, but nowhere in The Bible does it forbid Gambling. I think that there is conflict between certain preachers (or whomever is interpreting the Scripture) and Gambling. I am not a religious man (at least not how most people define it) - but don't see any DIRECT conflict between gambling and religion.

"His biggest shtick in both his sportswriting profession and poker commentary is his frequent references to his 'failed marriages'. In his weekly syndicated column on July 29, 2007, Chad announced that he has married for a third time and has started a new 'perilous life'."Source: Wikipedia

I was thinking that Doyle had more money behind, but that turns out to be wrong. It's a very similar situation.Doyle laying down queensDoyle raises to 70k preflop and gets 2 callers. He bets 220k on the flop. He folds to Chip's minraise with 437k left.

The most annoying part of the final table was Scotty Nygunenaey(sp?) blowing up before he got there to take it down.
Considering his style .... that shouldn't have surprised anyone. What'd he have when there were 12 people .... like 10 billion chips?

I am not at all religious but there seems to be some conflict between gambling and Christianity. Wouldn't gambling fall under coveting? I covet every big pot I see! If people want interprete the scriptures for themself I am down with that. Its better then blindly following somebody else's interpretations.I dont want to start another religious debate just getting my veiw point out their.

God at the poker table gets really fucking old.--The difference between Doyle/Chip and Jerry/Lee was the villain in both hands and probably a million hands familiarity. Jerry = Aggrotard who's standard opening raise was between 5 and 10 x BB. Chip = Not an aggrotard, very unlikely raising with a worse hand.

You hit the nail on the head. I never lay down queen's in that spot to someone who overvalues his hands like Jerry does.

The most annoying? Well there were some candidates, but neither of those two the OP said was among them. The first time I saw the "pray-off", I had to laugh real hard it was such a bizarre sight, Yang praying on every all-in afterward was much more annoying to me. How can anyone really be too annoyed by Khan at the FT, pretty much the only time he did anything really bizarre was when they announced him in the beginning, he was actually pretty calm afterward IMO.Childs laying down the QQ was among the most annoying moments for sure, I still don't understand how he did that, Watkinson's push was also pretty stupid IMO, if I had to choose those were the two moments that annoyed me most in the first half of the FT. Later on, Rahme talking Yang into calling him was just idiotic, I really liked the guy and would've loved to watch him go HU, and at that it was completely unnecessary for him to open his mouth at that moment.Last but not least, in the HU between Lam and Yang, there were so many annoying moments that I couldn't ever recall all of them, I was just so annoyed by Lam playing so extremely weak and pretty much letting Yang run him over, that he got back into the game at all was such a lucky coincidence that I couldn't even feel to bad about him being runner-runnered in the last hand.

The second most annoying thing at the table was when Lee Childs kept talking to his dad in the middle of his hands. That was disgusting and I was surprised he didnt get a penalty.

There is no doubt in my mind what is the most annoying thing iv,e seen so far at the wsop HEVAD KAHN!!!!! i mean what the hell was he doing lol he looked like he belonged in a straight jacket with all that jumping and wiggling around. The way i see it is that people like that have no class what so ever i get exicted when i win a hand and i might go as far to even give it a quick fist pump in the air when its a very big hand but doing what he was doing is like putting a sign on your forehead saying total novice and jumping aroung like a kangaroo hahaha

I made this point in the last main event thread, but since the issue comes up again, I reproduce it here:If you see religion as an extension of superstition, it's easy to see why it's going to be common among gamblers. Any situationwhich involves high reward and an element of uncontrollability is going to give rise to all kinds of behaviors whichare essentially attempts to gain control or the illusion of control. Sports is another situation like this which comes to mind...

The first time I saw the "pray-off", I had to laugh real hard it was such a bizarre sight,
I thought my TV had switched to the 700 club. And there seemed to be a lot of commercials. After first week I always watched both shows on DVR afterwards and it still seemed excessive(sp?).
