Hello allI just have a quick question as to what is the proper etiquette when playing poker online in a cash game. I was playing a .50-1.00 no limit head to head online. I bought in for 60 dollars, and my opponent buys in for 100. I double up really quick, and he re buys putting him back at 100. We play for a good 1/2 hour and anytime he lose a significant amount, he re buys at 100. He then tries and bully me by way over betting the pot preflop. Is it okay at any time to just take the money and leave? Or should you keep playing till he leaves or wins back his money.

at that limit he will have another person to play almost immediatly leave when ever you want its not live however if this was 10/20 and higher i would always give 10 15 mins notice before since the playing feild is much smaller and you want action at a later time

All good advice so far. If you feel bad leaving, then just give the guy notice. If you give him 10, even 5 minutes notice, there is no way he can rightfully be pissed about it.

you should give him notice before you leave. also, him capping his buy in shouldn't affect how you handle it. after all, you should be buying in for the max anyway and capping if you get too low. if you feel that him bullying you is making the game -EV, give him a few minutes notice and leave.
