keith crime 8
Did you guys notice how bad Safi's hands were shaking when he put the money in the pot on this hand.yeah but then when he sees its a coinflip he doesnt want to run it twice - odd
El Guapo 8
yeah but then when he sees its a coinflip he doesnt want to run it twice - oddSafi is obviously a gambler and from his table talk he never really got the gist of running it twice and why people did that. I think he was right not to run it twice. He does not play in the games with them often and it is there way to mitigate risk on all in bets in no-cap games.
source99 0
In the previous episode there was a hand where Jamie Gold bluffed and both Daniel and Jennifer "knew" he was bluffing after Jamie did/said something. Does anyone know what it was that he did?

BeaverStyle 1
Is it just me or does it seem like Jen Harman is completely out of her league when playing at HSP this year? Seems like she never gets involved in pots unless she's very confident she has the best of it, and even then, overbets to drive her opponents out.I haven't seen all of HSP but it seems she's just on there to raise a 6k bet to 46k w/ KK, and muck every other hand. Perhaps I'm mistaken.Oh, and Mike Baxter.... wtf. He started off playing great, obviously more on the 'loose' side, but he went w/ his gut read, which caught the regular HSP players off guard. I can't even think of an argument as to why he over-pushed on Sammy's all in... But whatever, he had 100k+ to lose, so it's on him.
Mercury69 3
This thread simply illustrates that some people are ****ing idiots, can't play "proper" poker and get paid for it. **** you, donlye luckboix assholes.LFT
No_Neck 0
Mike Baxter 100% misread his cards. The I am going to puke look was clearly there.

Sheiky 0
www.pokertube.comI haven't seen the recent episode, but Baxter played pretty well si far apart from the shove with an OESD into Helmuth's set.How do they pick the players for the show?Serious question, is their some sort of agreement for the pros to have at least one donkey ameatuer(Bob Safi etc) on the table at any one time so it's a profitable venture? BellaireDrew 2
Jen plays way too tight.. She's only involved in one out of every ten televised hands! I would play tight at that table also. Everyone there has been maniacs, throwing chips around like it was a .05/.10NL table. Even DN is playing ubber tight.
Moneyball16 0
Stop ragging on Harman people. Shes playing tight but that may just be because of the hands shes getting. I dont remember her making any plays that were ridiculously tight. Before and maybe even after Brandon Adams took Mike Baxters seat she definitely rated to win in that game. exec771 0
Its an amazing game where you raise with 65 and get called in two spots yet have the best hand.. Not to mention Brandon probably was playing tight, and then Eli's AQ ofcourse is the nuts there..Also people are saying Baxter blew up, but really what had he done before to prove he wasnt a calling station in previous episodes. He didnt lay down second pair to hellmuth when he had j10 and couldnt lay down a 5 high flush draw. He has a hedge fund so probably just wanted to gamble..

scram 1
LOL @ some of the comments about Harman. That table was a maniac donkfest. Being the brilliant player she is, she knew that the best way to maximize any potential profits was a TAG approach. Enter strong (with enough "6-4" variation plays when you can get in cheap, just to keep things spicy) and bet your hands....She wasn't playing for TV time. She was playing to take the chips. PERFECT gear selection for that game and the fact that some people don't understand that explains why she's Jen Harman and you're internet dude.
Craigdog 0
I can't believe nobody has mentioned how glorioulsy bad Sammy Farha is playing.. the guy is a complete donk & already down $300k. I bet Doyle, Barry & Patrik were literally rubbing their hands together before the $500,000 buy in game at the thought of Gold & Farha sitting...
whatgreatis 0
Harmen is mostly a limit player so she was some-what outclassed by DN, Hellmuth, and Eli. She can still hold her own though. And I think tight is def the way to go with a stuck Sammy Farha, Baxter and Eli at the table.

drcossack 0
So I guess by this "logic" you'll never critique the talent of a someone like Britney Spears until you win your first Grammy?Britney Spears sucks obv. Her talent is nothing more than being a whore and losing custody of her children to...KEVIN FEDERLINE. Jesus, how pathetic do you have to be for THAT to happen? Now that I got that out of the way:You have three idiots in Sammy Farha, Mike Baxter, and Bob Safai, as well as intelligent LAGs in Hellmuth, Gold, Negreanu, and Elezra. How would you play that table? If you know there's no chance in hell they'd lay down a hand, why not wait for a monster and let them screw themselves over?Besides, I'm sure she's actually not that tight. By acting like she plays tight, she knows she'd get respect from people while she's robbing them blind, provided of course, they don't have hundreds/thousands of hands played against her. ShaneO19 0
I actually don't think that Baxter's play was "as" idiotic as everyone believes. He is getting almost 2 to 1 against Farha and if he has 10 outs then those are the right odds plus there even is a slight chance that he could have the best hand with how Farha was playing. Don't get me wrong, I would never think of making this play especially with Elezra behind(which is what he seemed to overlook) but if he just wanting to gamble then it probably isn't too horrible.
