SpaceGravy's $25k challenge:http://www.sngicons.com/article.php?story=20071008160534608

Today I bet bigjoe 3k that I can make 25k playing the 60's in 30 days. I've been a little sick lately but once i recover i will be 20-25 tabling the 60's for 30 days and will try to make more than anyone ever has at the 60's in a 30 day period. This will not be easy but I know with my dertermination I can win this bet. The bet will start within the next week. I'll post my results daily, wish me luck!
He started taking bets at 2/1, and my former roomate has put up $4k (of which I've bought $500).
Here are the list of players who HAVE sent money to either me or Joey, we are still waiting on a couple more players. If you HAVE sent money already and are not on this list please send me an email to gphysioc@verizon.net so I can fix it.3000 at 2-1 by Mack500 at 2-1 by Slimon2k at 2-1 by dcalzone4k at 2-1 by jjprodigysgran500 at 2-1 by gambit1000 at 2-1 by jeffdiezel100 at 2-1 by Iweargoggles
Thoughts on what his realistic odds are?He needs $833/day all month, not including rakeback or FPP conversions.

Except that your flop check-raise must narrow your range quite a bit in his mind - I'm shocked he went with the push-reraise at that point. Assuming you're playing a made hand of some sort, he's drawing to 7 outs tops (unless your made hand is a pair of 2's). And that's assuming his Ace is good.

I switched from $10 NLHE SnG's to $15 PLO8 turbos and I'm getting my head kicked in. I'm just about ready to take my money off Stars. Maybe I'll leave $50 on there and play $1 tournies or SnG's when I'm not in the mood to grind my normal stakes. Poker has been reeeeally frustrating lately. I'm starting to think that I just plain suck.

What is correct tournament strategy for when you're getting constant disconnections? You might lose the connection in the middle of a hand, and it might come back in 10 seconds or it might not come back for a full orbit. How do you adjust? That's what I'm having to cope with at the moment.

Why not go back to the $10 NLHE games?
They've become nitfests, with 6-7 people left when the blinds hit 100/200 and it frustrates me. I was advised to LAG it up but thats not really my strong suit. Maybe I'll try NLHE turbos. Never really cared for Stars in general but I don't really feel like cashing out and moving my money somewhere else. I've never gone broke on a site, maybe I'm due.

I don't have the HH with me but I had a hand last night in a $1.75, 18-man turbo that made me think, "Lol donkaments." We were early in the final table, 7 or 8 left, and I had about 1100 chips. A loose-ish guy in EP with about 1000 chips made a standard raise and I push-reraised with TT. Got called by one of the blinds (who had me slightly covered) and then EP raiser calls too. I thought, "Crap, I must be up against a big PP. GG me." We flip our cards over...EP raiser had A3o and the blind had A9o. My TT held up and I tripled through. Lol, donkaments.
