For simplicity's sake:sb and bb see a flop, on the flop sb checks, bb bets, sb calls. Then it goes check-check all the way to showdown.Does sb have to show first since he's forced to act first or does bb show first since he was last to lead at the pot?Pretty sure online (FT) bb shows first but we got into a debate about this at a home cash game. Thanks for the help...

It varies.FTP shows BB first.Stars shows SB first. Most live casinos show SB first.Don't be a prick just turn over your cards. Or if you're SB and don't want to show just say "I missed" or "K high" or whatever.

I always thought that only the action on the river mattered, but I might be wrong.
usually you are right...chk chk on river after SB chked and BB bet on flop still means that SB has to show...-Mark

No, you're right. And if there is no action, as in this scenario, it goes by position. First to act is first to show.

QFTeven though BB bet last, it was on the flop.If river goes chk/chk. First to act shwos first. If there are bets/raises, whoever put in the last bet shows first, then it goes around the table.
