Everything looks really good, except that i'd change the stain on the base of the table.i hate the light, yellowy stain to begin with - reminds me of a cottage without air conditioning, and flys hovering over my head.but especially in this case, because it clashes with the darker color of the cabinets.

I just completed my new Poker room. It's detached from the house so playing all night is not a problem. I'd like to get a regular game going with the Phoenix locals.I still need to replace the chairs.pokerroom001nd7.jpg
What part of phoenix are you in?

I live at Pinnacle Peak Rd and 67th Avenue in North Peoria. The table was done a while ago and I thought about changing the color to match the cabinets.I'd like to get a regular game going with mixed games. Right now, we only play NLHE and the occasional dealer's choice.MarkWhat days are good for you? We can play any and every day of the week. :club: I'll post downstairs photos in a wek or so. There isn't any furniture down there yet. I have the drywallers and painters doing touch up next week. The Paulson chips run about 83 cents each.

This room is on the second floor. The other side is open to the first floor. I have room for at least three more tables on the first floor. One of the LCD TVs will have a tournament clock on it. There will be another TV downstairs that will have the clock on it also. We had our first game last night. I ended up winning $15 after a double up with quad 5s. :club:
$50,000 for outside building$5,000 for plasmas$2,000 for chips, cards, tablesTotal = $57,000Winning = $15 Down = $56,985Only 3799 more sessions and you you are break even :D In all seriousness awesome place, love the TV's, as one poster said earlier are there others on the other wall or could you move one over?? Love the wine cabinet/fridge. What kind is it, I have been looking for a good one that is a reasonable price.

Joey, How much are those chairs? The fridge is a GE Monogram Beverage Center: http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProdu...amp;SITEID=MON2It cost me $1,150. Those things are expensive. It cost more than the 26 cubic foot fridge with water and ice in the door on the lower level.I originally planned to spend less then $50,000 on this project. It kinda snowballed into a 1100 square foot, two story, two bedroom guest house/Poker room with full kitchen (you have to eat while playing cards).I was thinking about getting stackable casino chairs, but those ones Joey pointed out are pretty nice. The new chairs will probably wait until I get finished with furnishings and landscaping.

So how close was I on the expenditures? I am usually really good at nailing those. And thanks for the info, my price range is under $500 for 50 bottles +/-.

jdchairsm.jpgHere is a style of chair that wood look nice with the table and decor....
Are those made by Mikhail Darafeev?
Joey, How much are those chairs?
That's a sweet ass room!If the chairs are made by Mikhail Darafeev, I'd think they'd be +800 each in cherry/leather with the decorative tacks. If you go with oak/maple and upholstery instead of leather, it should drop the price into the $500 range.

I went overboard on a few items like granite counter tops, travertine floors and showers, exposed wood beams, Alder cabinets, solid wood doors. When I get done, it will be about double your estimate. I plan to add a Teppanyaki grill outside.

OMG, well I was close but did not factor all of your upgraded material. I love alder, the light wood with the unique dark grains in it, I think it looks really good naked with just a coat of varnish, like maple. And I am guessing since your TRUSSdude you are in the construction industry, possibly roofing?

I build roof trusses in what used to be one of the hottest markets in the country (Phoenix, AZ).The last few months, business has not been too good. The construction industry has come to a standstill. :club:
