I'm pretty aggressive, so I get check-raised there a ton if he had the most plausible holdings, a4 or 64. If I do get check/ raised I don't have odds to call for the spade, so its just less messy to check and take the free card

Bullet, your HH says it's limit omaha.. Is this a Omaha Hi or O8B we are talking about here?If it's actually O8B, to answer pokerinc's question: Turn puts a low on the board, and gives us 9 pulls to the nut spade flush. If we get C/R'd on the turn, we know he's freerolling, and we now have to complete a double bet to *draw* at half the pot.Having a low on that turn is bad when we have AA, having three cards to a wheel is absolute death for our hi-only hand on that turn. You can argue there are only 2 aces left in the deck, but anyone with an Axxx in a full ring game is calling PF if they have a baby or two to match it.. No one with an ace and a low draw is likely folding to one bet on that flop, and then turn likely kills us. Put the ten of spades out on that turn and that gives us 13 pulls at the nuts without a made low on the board, and then we can get aggressive.Even at 2/4, you aren't going to get a lot of folds by being agressive on the turn. Seeing this hand down as cheaply as possible (esp. getting that free look at the river) was likely the best possible line.

This is a bad beat? I have to assume a hand far more heinous than A4 made a straight to beat you then?I got my AA23 nut diamond put down in a O8B tourney tonight a few short of the bubble in a pot Capped 3-way PF by KJ86 rainbow. I hope you can beat that :D

Bad night lil'bullet? Surely this hand could not have sent you off that bad. It sucks that a nice start never went anywhere, but you only put 3 SBs in there. Are you playing over your head these days? Not trying to be rude, just noticed you used to post a lot of .25/.50, now it's 2/4...
