I am pretty sure not too long ago people were using credit/debit cards to deposit onto fulltilt. It was 2 months ago....http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...t+card+fulltiltI would try your credit/debit card first, but if that doesn't work, I believe ePassporte is the most popular method.

Are you good?If yes : no idea how to get money onlineIf no : debit cards still work on Absolute Poker after "pre-authorization"Just watch out for those superuser accounts.
What is a superuser account? Are those the people with the off color screennames like bigdogpcktfives? I've been wondering what the off color screennames meant- I figured either Absolutepoker sponsered them or they were VIP Elite status.

Ok , so couple hours later - Here is where I stand -I logged onto stars and got into a support chat with one of thier reps. They told me that I could use western union . Fantastic . I got this crazy email saying I needed to send money to this Chika in San Jose, COSTA RICA . And to make sure that the western union reps didnt convert my USD to Peso. Cool. Went to the local grocery store , and up to the customer service counter where they do Western Union. Filled out the paperwork correctly , and I mean I scrutinized to make sure this Costarican chick's name was spelled correctly, because apparently success of this transfer hinders upon that. Got all my receipts and paperwork in front of me from this process. Back at home, after I gave 200.00 to the western union woman , I had to enter in my MTCN Number, which is like the code to unlock all the $$.So I put in the code , and I get a message saying Pokerstars will now verify that I made this payment. I will receive an email notice with 60 minutes. 24 minutes go by and I get this : "Hello JimmyAcesUp,We have not been able to validate your Western Union transfer in the amount of $200.00.An email with further information will be sent to you shortly.Regards,PokerStars Support Team"SON OF A BITCH. Im currently out 200 bucks and havent received this mystery email yet ..

That sucks.MoneyGram's fee is less than WU and you don't have to worry about putting part of someones last name in the middle name spot. Many Costaricans have two last names like Jose Mulondo Esporante and if you put Mulondo as the middle name, you're screwed.

If you are trying the credit card/ debit card method..... it depends on your bank whether or not it will work. Bank of America cards do not work. I don't know what banks do work. If people would list which bank's credit or debit cards work, that would be much more helpful than some of these responses. Alas, it's the general poker forum.

You need to calm a little...First off, I've gotten this email also. Look at your reciept/copy of your western union transfer. When I got this email and checked the reciept, the persons name is spelled wrong. Just call the toll free number pokerstars provides you (or go on western unions website), call them, give them the right info and you should have it in stars within a half hour.

Yea, I would def try this IF I had spelled the name incorrectly . I have the Western Union copy and it matches everything that I was supposed to do. What this Toll free stars number? Cant find it anywhere.

No not toll free stars number, the toll free number that stars provides, to call Western Union. Here is my response from them when I had the problem. The cashier spelled it wrong because I did it very clear.Hello Bob ,At this time we are unable to collect the Western Union transfer that you recently submitted to us, because the receiver name was spelled wrong. The correct name is MARIA RAYO MARENCO but it was inadvertently sent to MARIO RAYO MARECO.Please note that for some Costa Rican names, there is a first name and two last names. There are no middle names. Please contact your Western Union office or call 1-800-325-6000 and request that they change the recipient's name to the correct one noted above. Once it is done please let us know and we will immediately verify the funds and credit your account.Regards,AndreaFPokerStars Support Team

I could totally envision some poor dude going to Gambler's Anonymous and nervously trudging up to the podium, uttering the following words:"Hi everyone. My name is Tony. I have a wife and three kids, a steady job, most of my hair, and I have spent the last 15 hours of my life trying to get two hundred dollars to some chick in Costa Mesa.. err. Rico.. err.. whateverthefluck.. who has somewhere between two and five last names."

Heh , I didnt get a response as to what the problem was .and 2.When I track the western union order, it says "Its available for receiver pickup" , which tells me that Pokerstars hasnt picked it up yet...why not? Who knows ..
