I might put in a small value bet. Checking is also an option. I agree most hands you beat will not call you here anyways.

So why not fold out the opponent and not show our hand instead of providing the entire table with information?

What information? We are saying that hey we will complete with 9 10 off in the BB getting great odds... Then we bet out 200 trying to steal... which if you are playing lag you prob don't want.... if our hero is playing a tight conservative game we def want to show this hand down and let them in on that info.... I agree checking is an alright option.... However, I would tend to throw a value bet in here because I seriously doubt that that line says flush... If he check raises your value bet you can be certain about a fold.
