delasoul 0
What do you think about this hand?? No real reads...I decide after reviewing the flop to keep it small since I considered a check raise if he bet out . I just checked call.I put a blocker bet on the river, but I think that was a woosy bet and should have bet more. I put myself in marginal situation here on the river and deciding to keep it small prevented me from getting any information that I would of like.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem Ring gameBlinds: $0.25/$0.509 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $62.15UTG+1: $46.10MP1: $40.55MP2: $11MP3: $60.15CO: $75.15Button: $52.90Hero: $62.15BB: $51.50Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is SB with 4 folds, CO raises to $1.75, Button folds, Hero calls.Flop: ($4, 3 players)Hero checks, CO bets $4, Hero calls.Turn: ($12, 3 players)Hero checks, CO checks.River: ($12, 3 players)Hero bets $3, CO raises to $9, Hero folds.Uncalled bets: $6 returned to CO.Results:Final pot: $
delasoul 0
Oh the reason I chose to play this was I thought he might have been playing any two to buy the blinds so it was a half read. Most of the time I don't cold call oop with this hand What do you think about this hand?? ActionFalko 0
If you choose to blockbet, bet at least 1/2Pot. Everything else smells strongly weak. I had a similiar problem a few posts ago and got the same result. Weak lead and I got raised. Just my two cents...

I had a similiar problem a few posts ago and got the same result. Weak lead and I got raised. Just my two cents...Yah I should of...but now I realized after reading other people's results on this hand I made a bad pre-flop play. If he was raising light and my read was that he was trying to buy with any two I should have re-raised to try to take it down there. I would have gotten all the information I need after a strong bet on the flop so I wouldn't be in a such a marginal river situation.I agree though...you bet light and you get that craps hove back up your ass
whiterice714 0
it doesn't make sense... if i'm villain i'm raising that bet w/ ATC... but that's just me...
delasoul 0
it doesn't make sense... if i'm villain i'm raising that bet w/ ATC... but that's just me...That would be a ballsy re-raise on a board that paired, but my bet on the river was really weak. Villian in position if he had the straight would have bet the turn but I maybe giving him too much credit.
whiterice714 0
i'm only saying that check call check & then lead for 1/4 the pot when a 3 bricks off doesn't make any sense to me, and it doesn't scream "value" in my eyes either... hence i'm putting hero on weak holdings if i'm villain... he could simply be playing position... whatgreatis 0
I hate blocker bets, there may be a time and a place for them but its certainly not here. If you want to keep the pot small and see if you have the best hand just check/call.
AKProdigy 0
I agree, c/c is the best action on the river here. As played, its close... but I call the raise. Your getting 4:1, I think this is a bluff enough to advocate calling.

whiterice714 0
is chic a good thing or bad thing?i just felt your response (as well as the other) was absolutely hilarious & worthy of such a spot...i figured it was obv sw in both posts & didn't make notation that they'd been taken out of context...
