Chicago99 0
I really don't get the whole concept. I am no more or less likely to play on a site because they've signed some people to play there. In fact, many of the pro's on Full Tilt are people I've never heard of. The only time it's ever even crossed my mind is - and I am being serious - when I see Humberto making an major *** out of himself I think, why would pokerstars want to associate themselves with this guy. Especially since he's so old and its SO obvious that he's doing it for the TV cameras. I mean, a 22 year old who is excited at his first world series, I understand. But, Humberto? Did he carry his sharks around in 1999 and make the big display every time he was in a pot?
FCP Bob 1,323
One thing to keep in mind with Team Pokerstars is that they target players based on where they're from as well as their success. If you're the most high profile player in Poland for example you might be a candidate. A lot of Poker Stars marketing efforts are country specific and won't be obvious to people in the US. PMJackson21 0
I think PokerStars is brilliant for some of it's signings.I mean, who wouldn't want to play on a site if they knew players like McEvoy, Moneymaker, Russo and a few others would be regularly donating to different prize pools and cash games.Khan is actually pretty good, but I have no clue about the other 'new' players. Just play goot and watch South Park on your iPod...If JC's doing it, so I am I.I'm sick of being the nice guy respectful sarcastic but polite young man. In the London Daily Telegraph, I got referenced for a cute remark about a mascot named Mr. Busto being in poker's future. F THAT. I'm gonna start thumping my chest "hoo haw, hoo hoo haw" and acting like an idiot to get endorsements. Worked for sexual abuser Sheiky, worked for RainKhan, will work for me too.Let's be a team JC....we should perform skits. Effin BS rewarding antics. Dats good television!!!
