Poker Stars And E-checks

Recommended Posts

It appears that Poker Stars has taken a hit by offering deposits by echecks.I was wondering if any forum members have made deposits using that method.I am also curious if there are any members out there who got the money into their PS account and the deposit has not cleared their checking accounts. If you are in this category I would like to ask:What do you plan to do about it?Kind of an ethics question.

What do you mean by PS taking a hit by offering echecks?
I believe that for a number of people, PokerStars offered this as a way to deposit, instantly credited the money to players accounts, and then the bank didn't end up transfering the money to Stars so they got hosed.Mark

itll come o ut eventually, and if it doesnt, youll get nailed by your bank for NSF fees, and stars will try over and over to get their money

Any progress on this information. I also used e-check around the beginning of september and got an e-mail saying that the money would be withdrawn from my account from something called rightpayments.com and for 2 weeks now nothing has been taken from my account any news on if anything will happen. Kinda scared to ask support cause I don't want to ask them and then have my money taken if I could have gotten it for free.

I deposited a few times, 1 time it took out, 2 times it hasn't. I'm just looking at it as not in my account, because I know once I used it, it would be taken out and I would be hurting...

It has been almost a month since I put $50 on thru echeck and nothing has happened. I did withdraw $6K with no problem that has hit my bank account already. A solid ROI.Ok, slight brag post.

Aight i deposited 580 on Pstars through e-check and it hasn't been taken out of my account. I don't wanna e-mail support and ask them if they ever are cause thats just stupid. I don't expect anyone to do it either but maybe if someone deposited a small amount before they knew that banks were rejecting it have e-mailed support already and asked them what was up. So has anyone e-mailed them?P.S. - only asking cause if for some reason P stars realize how rick they are and just don't pursue getting whatever money they lost I am taking this money to the casino!!!!!

I received this email on 10-3-07 and the money was taken out of my account yesterday.Recently, our eCheck processor has been experiencing technical difficulties. These issues have resulted in delays processing eCheck deposits. The deposit below was credited to your PokerStars account at the time you made your eCheck purchase in the PokerStars Cashier, but the funds have not yet been debited from your bank account:Transaction ID: 97608314Amount: 600Original deposit date: "August 31, 2007"The technical problems are being resolved with our eCheck processor and all deposits that have not yet been withdrawn from players' bank accounts are now being debited. This will result in your funds being withdrawn from your bank account well after you made your eCheck deposit request at PokerStars. The debit from your bank account for the deposit above will show up on your bank statement as: SIMPLEPHONECARDS.COM IMPORTANT: If you made more than one eCheck deposit that has been delayed, you will receive an email just like this one for every eCheck deposit you made which has been delayed. Please ensure there are enough funds available in your bank account to cover the eCheck deposit above as well as all other delayed eCheck deposits you receive notification for. If there are not enough funds available, this will result in NSF transactions and fees being charged by your bank. We are sorry for the delay in processing your deposits and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. PokerStars Payments Department

I'd just like to say that you have some serious avatar/signature skills. The Mike Sellers hit pre TD is ridiculously sick. I miss the NFL :club:
