I think it was a good bet, I always fast play my aces unless I hit top set with no draw...Pot sized bets are usually very scary to call with a draw as well as you have horrible odds so good bet and way to take down the pot with AA...

Considering that it's early in a tourney, you don't need to be taking any risks with AA. That being said, you want to use the smallest bet that you think will do the trick. Consider winning the pot your priority, and if the pot inflates due to people making bad calls that's just a small bonus.

I'd much rather take down that pot early. There's not point in letting the flush draw a cheap shot at drawing out on you (or any weirder crazy draws). A caller wouldn't be bad.. but.. neither is winning it there.
