I'm torn between pushing and a stop n go. I really think he check-raised you with a heart draw... he can't have a pair+ heart draw which sucks because we could be certain he'd call the push, but the nut flush will do this a lot at 50 NL. If we're set over setted oh well ish happens. If I feel lucky I'd flat call and hope no heart drops, let him semi-bluff it then push over top. If I've been running bad I'm happy with the pot as is and am pushing.

Stop n go should be reserved for hands where there aren't quite so many draws.

And you can't stop n go when you're in position, as is the case here. This is a fairly easy shove.

May I ask what you'd call a flat-call / shove non-heart line then? Or is it just that?
A stop n go is really a tournament move and it refers to the specific situation where you flat call a preflop raise (where you could've pushed preflop, since you have no intention of folding) and shove any flop with the idea that your opponent might miss the flop or be scared by it and fold his hand where he certainly would've called AIPF. There really isn't a place for stop n gos in cash games becuase you shouldn't be short stacked in a cash game. The idea that you're describing is just slowplaying.

The stop and go you describe is one example. There are other examples of stop and go's.You can stop and go in a cash game with any sized stack.

What a horribly wrong post. There are many times when it is the optimal strategy depending on the situation, to vaguely say slowplaying sucks and list off those silly reasons is pretty absurd.
