serge 904
haha hey I did watch the game, I was stoked for it. Annnd my credit goes to Toskala, he was good. But I bet the Wings were disappointed, Hossa looked good. Same with Datsyuk. Toronto played well as a unit.Lets all remember that hard work and a sound system will beat talent on any given night...I will take guys who arent as talented but work their tails off agaisnt a bunch of high paying allstars anyday..Did i beleive this before, maybe not...but i am buying into the system and Ron Wilson(the gurus) plan..Recent teams that have had major success without the best of talents..The Oilers that went to the cup final. The post lockout Sabres.to a lesser extent the Flyers of last year. MapleLeafpoker 1,462
If anyone is interested, there are some tickets available online for Mondays afternoon game against the St.Louis Blues. I couldnt justify paying $400 to see last years Marlies. But I was really tempted since its the Blues, and they would be great to watch.I hate MLSE.
serge 904
lol...Those last year Marlies beat the allstars from Detroit....GrabovskiKuleminHagmanSchennThese guys are GOOD.....
digitalmonkey 929
Toronto played well. Detroit didn't. Part of the reason Detroit didn't play well was due to Toronto's play but they also turned the puck over too much and had dead legs. Toskala DID NOT deserve to be a star. The two best players on the ice for either team were Dominic Moore and Alex Steen.

sleuthis 0
This is pretty much what I expect from the leafs all year........Hard work, lots of mistakes and simply getting beat by better teams. As a leaf fan, I am more than prepared to watch this team run into better teams all season as long as they work hard doing it.I really thought the crowd singing the anthem was very cool and would be an outstanding tradition if they did it every game. Saw Chris at the NAPC WPT I decided to ask him to bet with me $100 on the Leafs and Hab game, Chris 1st stated he does bet , I lol, stating whats that signature you have about with serge, and of course your prop bets with Rob. Then Chris stated, they played last night, they will be too tired, lol. Well now I am lmao cause I just saved 100 bucks. they did look good against detroit. Such as life one game, and back to the cellar we go.
