I live and Grew up in Montréal so I hate the leafs, I don’t even know why anyone would cheer for them they haven’t won anything in the longest time, Pat Quinn is a loser too.Anyone ever read the Hockey sweater story when you were young, if you did then you’re a true hockey fan great little book. MarionSauce I suggest you read that then you will know the passion of Montreal fans against leaf fans.

Yeah the things I dislike about Pat Quinn is that he favours veterans, and he has favourites: See Mikael Renberg and Trevor Kidd-since when does someone mediocre like Renberg #19 get to be on first line with Roberts and Sundin, Kidd - he was okay on calgary but just dismal on our team, should have been let go a long time ago.Clearly I have read that book, what Canadian hasn't? How would I NOT know the passion of Montreal Fans against Leafs fans? I say bring it on. We can start a flame war.

I'm with Marion flame war! Leaf fans against the rest of the world!Marion I agree with you on Quinn sticking a little too long with his favourite...frankly everytime Cory Cross stepped onto the ice...I nearly dropped dead...(for those whoi don't know Cory...he is the guy who in his tenure with the Leafs, made more turnovers that directly or indirectly led to an opponent scoring than any other Leaf in history...even more than Todd Gill)To CheckraiseThat all being said...They haven't won a "CUP" in the longest time true (11 total..as Maple Leafs)...but to say they haven't won anything...that is a stretch as they are one of the top 3 winningest teams since Pat Quinn took over during that stretch.Yes the Harold Ballard years were lean...but the Leafs still remain historically one of the most dominant franchises in all of sports history. Before words are put in my mouth, that is not to suggest that The Leafs were more dominant than the Habs, because that is not the case...but all I have to say about the HAB vs. LEAF war....the fans never did and never will give up on the Leafs...the Hab fans give up and stop showing up to the games everytime thier team goes offside.GO LEAFS GO!!!

Too funny, I am a leafs fan, and yes I agree how scary can a leaf be??But get a gang of them together and you got yourself a problem, bud, that's why they are called the LEAFS!!! Whoa Montreal Fans are so passionate about their team, Every time i step into the Bell center for a game I get Goosebumps, just writing about the ghosts of the old forum im getting chills, The tradition of one of only 4 TRUE franchises in pro sports. Hockey: Montreal Canadiens 24 cups, Rocket Richard, Jean Beliveau, Patrick Roy, Pratrice Brisebois (LOL)Baseball: The YanksFootball: PackersBasketball: The bulls some would say (More my generation) but I love the old Celtic tradition from what I know about it Thanks TSN Classic.I just think that Pat Quinn is overrated, its like Joe Torre with the talent that they have I could coach them to a great record. And when he coached team Canada I think we can all agree that it’s close to impossible not to make the gold medal game with the roster they put out.
