Button checks.River: ($1.95) 5 (2 players)Hero bets $0.9?Villain is 39/3/0.75. The check on the turn was to allow villain to bet/catch a diamond (I had been cbetting almost ever PFR pot, not sure villain is good enough to notice this). In retrospect, I hate this because villain was passive anyways, might as well bet out and build the pot.As played, how much do you bet on the river? Do you overbet hoping to get a call from a K? Ricer98 0
I think turn check is the way to go. Egh, river is so close between slight overbet and check to hopefully induce a bluff. I probably lean towards check though. I don't know how often we get raised by a bare king after leading the river. When we check we atleast allow hands that can't even think about calling the chance to bluff. We might even get a king or any other full house to bet/call if we check raise. BeaverStyle 1
Definitely bet the turn. He's either got Kx or a flush draw... either way, he's either drawing dead or drawing to 2 outs. Put some more money in the pot and make him pay to hit his draw... and then stack him.
