Smash will never come backDo you see why?
I do see why, because his aura of greatness or what ever was popped, and he's probably to proud/ashamed to come back.. but.. fck that, he was awesome. I hope he comes back, denies everything, and pwns gen pop once again.

I'm only marginally interested in seeing Smash back, I was was really just banking on using this thread as a vehicle to see a Clay Aiken post. As lame as that makes me sounds, they always make me giggle uncontrollably.

have $5. that's the minimum, and i LOLed so it was worth it.smash was also a much better player than a lot of people give him credit for these days. i played with him a few times, and i was pretty impressed with his LHE play.
Did he ever release his screen names? I thought he always kept them secret...if so does anyone still see him playing? And who is to say that he isn't walking among us as an alt.....

It is impossible for mean, funny, egotistical dudes to act like someone else, I've heard.

he could be scram, but Smash was so raging liberal that I doubt it.

For the record, on the 13th of September, it will be exactly one year since he was last active (according to my assistant).Pretty sad really. I remember that when I first joined these boards, the first thing that I would do was search whatever posts Smash had made the day before and read them all.

So true.. I would always read through smashes post.. back in the old days there was like 3 forums, gen pop, strat and off topic (meaning there was one strat thread, one off topic thread) and Smash just ruled gen pop... Solid gold. Rumor is he's been sighted at 2+2.. if any of you are 2+2 ers, and you get a chance, tell smash we miss him.

on stars he used to play as the candle or something like that. i used to see him at .05/.10 tables all the time. it could be that i wasn't all that good but i remember him putting money in all the time when it just seemed really obvious he was beat. very dumb river calls after raising and getting three bet on the turn by the most passive player at the table, stuff like that. there is some example that i can almost but just cant quite remember. he claimed to have a party account which was where he played for "serious" money and he wouldn't give that name out. who cares about his poker though, very entertaining and witty fellow.

Yeah, he claimed he had an account that played in the 2000 max buy PLO tables.. but he didn't want to give his screen name, because then people would know him and his tight strat and he'd lose action. Who knows if that's true or not.. frankly, I don't give two craps about what stakes any posters play at, I only care about the content of their posts, and Smash had the best content on the site, no question. He had quality and quantity.. FCP's number one all time poster, IMO.Wasn't pound for pound as good as RR, but he posted all the time, when he was here.
