gg nice ride but I hate the move there its a big pay increase just to get to the final table and u still have a decent stack after folding plus he made a raise that invited a call
you don't know what it's like until you're the one in the box faced with the decision. Sometimes we act too fast, sometimes we convince ourselves that we're good, and sometimes we're just too willing to gamble, but I credit Mase for having the balls to take the shot.

And playing in a tourney with such a big field that lasts such a long time, your bound to be tired/unfocused at some stages, make some bad reads occassionally.

its ironic that the last time i finished 10th in a big field I went out with the same A 8 but my M was 2.5 and was short stack about to see the blinds in 2 hands so i called off my chips and lost to AQ where he flopped nut flush to boot lol

But that's EXACTLY the point...why wait until you've got 2.5 orbits to find a spot to stick it in there...if you doub;e up, you're still WAY short. I'm generally not shy about sticking it in there if I'm even approaching 10 BB's (M=5 during the antes) so that I still have fold equite as well as being able to double up to a reasonable stack size. But who knows, I'm honestly no expert and make mistakes ALL the time.

Just outta curiousity, do you ever play to just cash? Like in a tournament like this, lets say I satt'd in and I don't have a massive roll so $1k is a lot of cash to me, do you ever just try and play safe? Or would you personally always play to win?
