Vade 0
Don't call huge bets with just top pair.Someone pushing in there means they're not afraid of an ace. You can put someone on one of the following: Aces up, a set, or the straightAnd he was in the blind, lots of people overdefend their blinds. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to get some players to fold their blind in a tournament.Next time you have to fold this hand

dms26 3
ya i just cant see him calling with anything but ace with a lower kicker than mine i guess i dunno i just figured im bestHe could have had ace lower kicker.. and made 2 pair. He could have hit a set. Yeah, it's hard to put him on a straight but there were still plenty of hands that had you beat and his massive reraise usully means one pair is no good. Only thing you're beating is a ridiculous bluff or a guy who can't fold KK or QQ. If you fold you've still got 8K chips and blinds are still low, you don't really need to risk busting in that spot. BriantheMan 0
Everytime I read one of these "I hate poker because of guys like this posts", the person is that is complaining makes huge mistakes, gets all of his money in while drawing dead, then complains because his A-Q offsuit monster hand did not hold up because HE RAISED BEFORE THE FLOP. Seriously, learn how to play the game.

Socrates 0
If you can't beat bad players then you'll never beat a good one. You're right, you should quit poker because you are a worse player than the pne who beat you.
Frills 0
I can see why you're sic and tired of poker, all the long days of playing must be costing you a ton with plays like that.
BPV 0
Also, pretty weak bet on the flop.. If i'm not mistaken, thats about half the pot.. If you want to keep someone from drawing to their OESD, put a big bet in there. When he came over the top of you with his All-in all you had was a pair of queens. I highly doubt he would be pushing there with AT. You have to figure you're beat and move on
skoal_dip 0
All the posters at this forum suffer their own bad beats. What makes you think they care about yours. I dont' mean to be an ass, but it wasn't even a bad beat. 45 beat a q, big deal.
ebbik 0
Are you mad at him calling with a good hand to bust you? Low connectors work wonders against an ace. You were only 63% to win this preflop, and he was getting almost 2:1 even if the UTG player folded.I would sympatize with you if you made him call a bet on the flop that didn't give him the odds he needed...Next time bet more than 30% of the pot with TPGK if you want drawing hands to fold, especially on a coordinated board.Poker isn't a top pair game. itwassuited 0
thats what happens when you bet 600 into a roughly 2000 chip pot. You just enabled any draw to call you getting great odds on their money, and your 600 chip bet ensured to them you had the ace and if they hit their draw they would take all your chips. Then you had 2000 chips commited to the pot and u called of 8 or 9 thousand more with a hand you couldn't beat anything aside from a bluff which is very unlikely here or a weak ace.sorry, but you played this hand like a train wreck since it was severely botched an every street. get'em next time.
