Mark, you were naked!Edit: Brandon Cantu is an ass. All he can do is criticize other people's hands. Mark, you made a move with KJ and you obviously didn't want him to call so might as well make your hand 2-7 off. There is a strong argument that he shouldn't have risked half of his chips with TT like you told him. But in the end, you made a move and got caught...no reason for him to rub it in. It wasn't a bad play...the only bad part was he called. Bleh.

Yeah that kid is a douche bag, not knowing about NoSup4U's history in the WSOP, I had no bearing in this community but due too that kid I was PRAYING for a river. Man I would have loved to see him flip out. You were a gentleman, and he was STILL a douche. In terms of your play.. this probably wouldn't have affected much, but even before his call, I didn't like your ".. I got a hand" it kinda showed weakness, though it's biased because I knew what you had, but... yeah it probably would have been best to not say anything imo.I can see why you re raised, you probably figured the aggressive punk was moving on you with a mid to semi strong ace maybe? like AJ? A10? Mid PP?I can't really FAULT you for the AI move, just dont think I would have that deep in the tourny with kj os.Hindsight is 20/20 tho :club:

Yeah, a lot of people don't like my 'I've got a hand' comment. Honestly I don't think it had much bearing on the hand. I'd been playing with Brandon a lot, and since we were by far the two most aggro people left from 20 people on, we spent a lot of time raising each other and talking during hands. Most recently (pre final table) I'd stolen his blinds and he basically commented that I better stop screwing with him. (not in a mean way, we were kind of friendly actually). Anyway, at the time, I was really sure he had a midpair, or possibly AJ/AT/A9 type hand. You don't see it in the show, but I talked to him for a while before I shoved. (about 3 mins in real time) and he was really nervous. So I just decided he couldn't call. He agonized for about 4 mins in real time (which is why I don't think my comment had that much bearing, it didn't seem to be what he was focused on, although obv looking back clearly I was weakish. Maybe it factored in, I've never heard him asked that so I'm not sure). But in the end he basically said: I just don't think I can fold with this much money in, and he called. And off to the races we went. I also believe that if he has 99 he folds there, and the same for any AJ-. So basically he had the one hand I thought he could have that he wouldn't fold AND I couldn't suck out. But I don't complain. That cash basically kept me from quitting poker so its all good :)Mark

Im sure you've guys heard the rumor about ESPN editting hands for dramatic effect. Check out you tube, or Paul Phillip's blog. The guy who called never actually showed his hand, right? I don't know... for all we know based on the evidence he made the call with J-7. Still, I wouldn't put it past ESPN to do something like that.
