Seattle (bellevue) Poker Rooms?

Recommended Posts

I have to go to Seattle (specifically Bellevue) Sunday through Wednesday on business. While not likely, there is a slim chance I might have an evening or two free. Does anyone have info on poker rooms there (i.e. if they exist, and if so, which are the good ones)?

Lived up around Tacoma for about 5 years and I mostly played at Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn. They have one of the largest rooms in the area. They spread limit hold'em games from 3-6 all the way up to 100-200 at times. While I don't think they are allowed to have NL up there, a year or two ago, they started spreading a "Spread" limit game, I think they have a 300 dollar buy in, a 500 dollar buy in and perhaps a 1000 dollar buy in. I was up there a few weeks ago, but I usually jut stick to 4-8 so I didn't really pay attention to their spread limit games. They have a pretty good menu and service staff at the tables as well. There are plenty of other casinos in the area and most of them have at least 2-3 tables and host some lower limit hold'em games. I believe that Tulalip Casino is another one that has a large poker room as well.Hope that helps. Good luck.

This would be the close room to where you're going to be I believe.

Depends what you want to play.. if you want to play NO limit, you have to go to a tribal casino, and Tualip (SP) is your best bet, north of seattle, or muckleshoot in auburn. It's actually a 5-500 spread limit game, but they are action. If you want to play limit hold 'em, then muckleshoot is also good, but a little closer ti bellevue, south of bellevue off of interestate five is "Diamond Lil" in Renton ( I believe exit 3, heading towards Renton off of I-5.. but call ahead to make sure) one of the best, most action rooms in the state. they spread 4-8 8-16 and 12-24 and all the games are LAG, with huge pots and bad players. Lots of azian drug dealers. they also have a 6-12 with a 10-20 kill omaha hi lo game that is about as juicey as you can find. If you want to play tourniments, Muckleshoot has at least one a day, and sometimes 2 a day, I'm not certain about tulaip

FYI for anyone interested, I played one evening at Diamond Lil's. It was ok. It's a little run down and the cards, tables, and chips are fairly old and worn out. However, they run the games pretty well. The players were typically bad. Typically, meaning they were about as bad as your average Vegas 10-20 limit game, but nowhere near as bad as your average Tunica limit game (still the worst players that I've found, anywhere, and nowhere else even close thus far).

wow, note to self, go to tunica. Strangely enough, Diamond lils has cleaned up alot in the last 5 years. The Indian casinos are the "nicest", most of the card only rooms are old.. it's hard to get new licenses, so most of them have been around forever, and don't have the money in general that casinos do. But I also think that's part of the charm of a place like Lil's I like my poker slightly seedy.

Cardplayer has a poker room locator on their site. You type in where you are going, they tell you where the poker rooms are near there.Mark

I've played in a few pokerooms and casinos while im in Seattle visiting family. I think tulalip is your best bet since you get variety there. I've also played at the Red Dragon Casino in Mountlake Terrace, WA. I believe its only 3-6 LH and daily SNGS.Also I played in a ghetto cardroom in Kenmore, Washington (Indian Res.). Only went there b/c i wasnt 21 yet. Its actually a bowling alley with the local cardroom in the back area. There they have black jack, pai gao, 3 card poker, etc etc.HOpe this helps u in some way ALOHA,jCedit: Bellevue to Tulalip Casino is probably a 30 min. drive but def. worth it. As you get there you feel like your in some type of Resort. Its nice, i like it!
