I just heard on the radio that Derby Lane has 2/5 NL. But I thought the max buy-in is $100? If that is true that is such a horrible game.
He informed me that there or at Hard Rock or something, they were gonna run 2/5 and 5/10 NL. Max buyin, still $100. Shoveaments!

Dude, seriously, I've been more profitable in that game than the 1-2 due to my backwards positional philosophy. Just sit to the right of the loosest player and limp-shove. You build a stack without a showdown pretty quickly.I'm really sad they didn't start the 5-10NL game, though. :club:

Speaking of notes, does anyone have any advise on effective not taking while playing? What types of notes you keep, amount of detail on hands etc etc.
Keep whatever is helpful for you.General notes.Examples of specific plays they made that stood out that aren't standardAnything overly stupid they didHow they might view me given any history together

Perhaps you're mistaken. This is not a strategy topic. This is the Bored-At-Work topic. Here we discuss great shows like Man vs. Wild and MNF, interesting, yet hilarious sexual encounters, getting thrown out of casinos for being a drunken *******, Naismith getting this well system fixed but totally outplaying the plumber business in Florida to do it, poker robbery at David's, and downright brag posts. Get with the freakin' program.Oh, it's also a slow chronicle of how Neck has magically become the hottest player on the internet.

I've never been tossed out of a casino. Thought after shattering a chair at Binion's celebrating a win after playing a hand blind and flipping over my last card to win... I thought they might.Yea i know that, was just looking through the tools thread in general and couldn't find anything. I swear I remember reading one that ColboltBlue or someone wrote and thought I'd bring it here while I was looking for it.

Yeah...I remember someone posted a note-taking thread in General and I responded to it at length. I'm trying to remember when that was. It's probably been months or years. I'll try to dig it up.Edit: Found it: http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...showtopic=60078

He's talking about the hilarious sexual encounters. It's hilarious because it was his cousin. Again.See, it's hilarious.
That's just marginally funny. Sexual harassment suits that end in the loss of your livelihood are funnier.
Lois Griffin: We'll continue this discussion tonight, young man. A woman is not an object.Peter Griffin: Your mother's right, son. Listen to what it says.Lois Griffin: Peter!Peter Griffin: Uh, uh, I didn't say that. Lee Majors did.Lee Majors: What? Women are things.

Nate, I'm running out of beer again. And yes, I am currently drinking beer at 10:32 am.
At least you haven't broke into the hard stuff yet.
Lois Griffin: Why don't you take Joe caroling?Peter Griffin: Yeah, that'd be as fun as a lecture on ontological empiricism.Lois Griffin: What?Peter Griffin: What?
This show owns my life.

I'm on LFT that Canadians can watch tonight's Dallas/Green Bay game at home and I can't. That's just not right.Sidenote- I'd probably only watch 30 minutes of it, but that's not the point.
