Some people really don't understand bubble play. He loses $2.63 by calling there, but his call costs me $6.77.If he knows I'm shoving any two then his calling range, despite having 1/4 of his stack in the BB, should be 88+. That's it. AKs is the best unpaired hand (obv), and is a slight loser.

If we did one of these just on ROI w/no buy-in restriction, I bet I could compete pretty well. The HU PLO SnGs on Stars are real soft. I was playing a $110 the other night with some guy who obviously didn't know that you had to use two cards out of your hand. He also min-bet at least 6 or 7 times before figuring out how to use the slider. Of course, he still ended up winning.

My Heater continues - recent2.jpgAnd a first for me last night. I actually chopped in a 9 man SNG last night. I went into headsup with 900 chips and got him all the way down to 1k chips. After 35 minutes we were back to even and he offered to chop out of respect for a great game. I lost the All-in after the deal, so my numbers are actually off by $9. :club:

Support chopped it for you?!
Yeah. I was surprised they'd do it for a 9-man SNG. That was part of the reason I agreed to it...wanted to see if they'd actually do it. :)Hello Yahkin,Congratulations on your finish in tournament #59034008! You agreed to a deal at the final table to adjust the payouts as follows: Official New Player Payout Payout ========= ======== ====== beenjamn42 #1 $ 45.00 $ 36.00 Yahkin #2 $ 27.00 $ 36.00

LOL, I always suggest chopping micro FTs as a joke, partly in hope that I'd find out if they'd do it, too.. Now that I know it's possible, I'll stop offerring. Well, maybe once it gets to heads up. Been on a $T tear lately, mainly top 5-7 getting seat tourneys disguise my less-than-perfect HU play.I'm convinced I take worse beats HU in 45 man SNGs than at any other time in any other situation.

I couldn't play much last week (only 25 played overall so far), and I'm not doing well at all...
Don't know where Simo is lately, I haven't played that many, and I'm not doing well either. Thinking it might be to my advantage just to PAY the $45 instead of losing more than that trying to win the challenge...lol. We'll see where I'm at mid month and go from there. Or, if nobody's bothering with it, we can call it off!?

Scotland for a week of golf. Unfortunately I think I've torn a ligament in my shoulder or something which is quite painful. Very little in the way of internet, so no poker.

I want to keep going with SnGs for the moment, but I think playing 250 of them below $12 buyin is restricting me unnecessarily. How about we drop it to 100 rather than 250? I'm open to suggestions. I'm reluctant to stop the challenge because 1/ It provides motivation for me to play, and2/ I'm winning.
