Ouch-8s 4
I really most interested on my line once the turn hits.
VernonME 0
Yea, seems standard and basically all you can do. OR fold on the turn (out of turn, of course).
antistuff 0
how about check/calling down from the turn as long as there aren't any raises. occasionally you will get pushed off the best hand, most of the time you'll save a bet or two.edit: i dont really like this, im sorta throwing it out there to see what anybody has to say about it. yeffy 0
I like betting the turn and prob. folding to a turn raise. Check/call will induce bets from large PP's thinking 2's full is the best hand I guess, but these hands are calling and not raising anyway so I'm not sure what we gain.Once you don't get popped on the turn I think our hand has to be good here. I'm actually leaning towards reraising the river as this raise and/or the call behind can very likely be A4 or AA or AA4.

yeffy 0
if you reraised the river and he capped it then what? what if somebody else capped it?Well this depends on the level I guess. At smaller buy-in tourneys on stars I would not be a bit surprised to see a lot of opponents with A4 or even AA cap a river like this. Against tighter/more skilled opponents you might take the safe line and just call.

I'm actually leaning towards reraising the river as this raise and/or the call behind can very likely be A4 or AA or AA4.This is probably the closest to what I was thinking. I led the turn, intending to probably fold to a raise. With so many players in, the deuce falling HAD to hit one of them I thought. Once there was no raise, I was thought that maybe I was still good on the river. I never considered reraising, maybe Wang would like to run some math to tell us how often that could be profitable. The hands that are played for big pots in this tourney are so laughably bad that there was still a chance once the river was raised that I still had the best high. AA and a flush were definitely possibilities - for example, MP3 had AK222 for his high and no low.
Chamonyx 0
Stack sizes could be relevant here as it is a tournament, however I lead the turn like you as any one with a 2 and a brain must raise to try to get rid of the low draws. In general I re-raise the river, but if calling 4 bets would put me all-in, then I might flat call.
