Whilst I have won $1460 tonightI feel obliged to complain about this for 5/18 in the $3R
i'm liking the balance in this. you took the good. you took the bad. you took them both and there you had: the facts of life!

if you're playing without a tracker, does changing gears become an important tool to combat those who do? they 12-table and see average numbers over x hands, not your specific style on a small subset of hands.ahi mentioned the $12/180turbos. i think they suffer from the same problem as the $4.40's: visibility to the lazy tourney player looking for something to fill screen space or time. thus, they both get a wild mix of players to make them appear without style. my forays into the 2.20/180 have been modestly successful. i think having them hidden on the sng page is directly related to this. i'm dealing with a majority of micro-grinders who play a certain way and are thus more exploitable.those are my thoughts on a sunday morning.

Had a go 10 tabling the $12 turbos last night and it didn't go well. Disgusting run of suckouts/lost races but I guess that's poker *hates that phrase*Made most of it back by nearly getting to another Final Table of a big MTT on Full Tilt (ran QQ into AA and then lost a coinflip :club:)As far as playing with a tracker, whilst 12 tabling you are given the total history of the players you are playing with. I think you can change this to a certain number of hands somewhere. However you do it, you wouldn't notice the change in gear specifically. However, speaking with a decent amount of experience multitabling, I tend to get a feel for when certain players will be changing gear entirely based on stack sizes and situation in the tournament. Most people tend to follow trends. I also seem to be able to notice when people are tightening up. Must be a weird subconcious thing of not noticing chips appearing on certain areas of the screen, which is a little weirdThat said, if you're running at 7/6 over 100 hands and you raise UTG with 18 Big Blinds, you're probably getting me to lay down my 77 on the button and not put you all in regardless of what I might think..Decided to force myself out of being nocturnal today since the lack of sunlight was getting to me. I'm also thinking the variance is less during the smaller field tournaments during the day. The short-term variance in large field MTT's has been killing me these last 3 days.

I think I fitted nicely into tired UK guy this morning and fell asleep after busting a couple of tournies, so I didn't see too much sunlight. Forced myself awake just now to start the new routine.<---Currently feeling like shit. From what I remember the morning/afternoon tournaments were quite good, the drunk Americans and crazy aggressive Europeans being the biggest plus. It's a shame since the softest tournament on full tilt start at 2am and 5am when all the Americans are wasted but I guess I can live without.
