I feel good. 10 cents good, but good nonetheless.. I giggled when I saw the flop and figured I wouldn't need to bet this on any street.. it would have been spectacular if you'd induced a shove from him. still a nice hand!
UTG+1 shoved or bet big every hand except that one, and the one where I had KK pf and it folded to me on the button.. lol.Another good night for me.. I lost ten cents (on that turbo lol) in tournaments, and won $25 on the .50/1 Horse tables. I'm really thumbing my nose at the "run badly after cashing out" mythology.Of course, I just can't see how it's possible to actually lose money at .50/1 horse over any period of time. You'd have to show me a table full of regulars, and regulars that can decipher how I play: not bloody happening. Anyone who's played with me long enough at .50/1 is already playing $1/$2 HORSE, the sole reason I stay at .50/1 (lol I'm a slacker). On a side note, the presence of the .10/.20 and .25/.50 horse tables have KILLED the action on the .50/1 tables. There used to be 5 tables going at all times.. Now It's rare to keep 2 tables full and going over a full 5-game orbit... Sad... I think Stars actually did something bad by doing something good.. sigh.

Hmmmmhttp://www.pokerhand.org/?2739857He had done this before with weak aces
I like it. The dead money plays bad hands hard in the early stages, if you are beat, so be it. Just be amazed that he didn't even show up with hearts, a straight draw, or EVEN a weaker ace. lol.His line is awesome.I mean, the worst you are up against is a pocket pair that you are now ahead of..And how he makes that all in call instead of saving himself 5000 drawing to runner-runner miracle, is beyond me.

i like it. one of my goals while waiting for AA is to pick out who is most likely to double me up with crap, and who is going to fold to a flop shove when i am shortish.i ALMOST had the elusive hextuple up to post earlier tonight, alas a nasty river ruined the dream.

This thread has seriously caught lightning in a bottle for me..I actually ran Queens full into Kings full tonight on the o8b cash tables, but finishing the night up 5 (!) buy ins made me forget to save the hand history.Seriously sickest heater of my life. Since last Wednesday, I've won at least $50 a night.. It's ridiculous... .50/1 Horse, o8b ranging from .25/.50 to $2/$4 (must have 3-4 tables open at all times!), .50/1 Razz, .50/1 Stud8, etc.. and that 2.20 180 win..It's ironic that in the same week I won a tournament, I've seriously pondered giving up on tourneys altogether.I've cashed out 3 figures in winnings 3 separate times this week, and not only did I duck the cashout curse, it didn't even slow me down.Wow.... words can't express... Had some extra bills this month (GF's Bday, Daughter's Bday, Mom's Bday, and Fathers day all within 18 days of one another) and it all couldn't have come at a better time.My roomate also got a job this month (yay rent help!) and it's even started picking back up at work (Jan-May always notoriously the slooooowest time of year in the nekkid dancing industry). So yeah, I feel *really* good. Now everyone else get some!

very impressive stuff, cappy! <applause>i'll take a moment here to give kudos to DapperDan. it was back in early january, during the usual downswing, that i was bummed & he reminded me about the value of a positive outlook and generally positive energy. it helped. yes, this thread is sort of a ninja continuation of the Feel Good Station, but without his reminder and example i may have continued to stray from the path.many good things happen when you enjoy what you are doing: truth, no lie.

This statement does such a good job of summing up the experience of playing tournaments that I'm going to quote it twice.

Congrats on your successes Cappy!

Hear, hear! From my conversations with some of S7S's students I gather that attitude is the core of his teaching as well. You gotta believe you are going to win.

Finally lost a buy in last night, so my heater is officially over.On the positive side: of the next $86 in tournament entries spent that is about to come off my "120 day" on OPR, only $1 of total winnings (!) was accumulated during that stretch.. So I'm essentially on the equivalent of 20 $4.40s worth of complete and utter freeroll.. :club:
