YBravo 0
Villain seemed tight/passive, but not a great read. About 80 left, 180 cashed, avg stack right now probably about 25k. I have a fairly aggressive image.Full Tilt PokerNo Limit Holdem TournamentBlinds: t500/t1000(Ante: t125)9 playersStack sizes:Hero: t19922UTG+1: t29361MP1: t13255MP2: t9940MP3: t14571CO: t15974Button: t12325SB: t50754BB: t101045Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is UTG with Qc Ad Hero raises to t2800, 2 folds, MP2 calls t2800 (pot was t5425), 5 folds.Flop: 6s 8c 4s (t8225, 2 players)Hero ???Note -- Villain's flat call leaves him with 7140 behind. monix 0
Push.Personally, I'd raise more PF. I know that many people become weak-tighties at this stage of a tourney, but I continue to raise (3 x BB + antes), which would be ~4,000. Your raise gives people outside the blinds 2:1 odds to call, and the BB 3:1. A bigger raise gives you a better chace to win PF, and if called, makes a flop push more obvious. Ronda 0
I would be a little leary that he might've been slow-playing a big hand, knowing you were going to bet. Maybe he thought he would limp in, and if you raise, he would just call, hoping that you bet so he can re-raise you. But, at the same time, he could've just had a hand that he wanted to see a flop with , and you could get him out of it by betting. But I don't think you should bet a lot. Any bet should make him fold. Just bet to see where you're at. (If you bet too much, he might think you're trying to take the pot, and he might re-raise you with nothing, since you have that aggressive image) You really have no idea what this guy has and you could lose a good amount of your stack by betting big and then getting re-raised. Kick 0
i think i would bet 2500-3000 here. I think if he has a hand he will push, and if he doesnt has anything, he could not reraise because its not too much more to you compared to the pot, so he could easy think you're pretty much commited. But in reality youre not commited at all, and if he shoves you could easy fold with probably losing the minimum possible in this hand.
cubbybri 0
Not much room to play here. Although I am little weak, I think the push is best here if read is accurate. You have fold equity and if you are up against an OP JJ-99 you have outs. Not much here to worry about except a flopped set. Tough break if that is case. If passive I guess AK is a fear but push I feel is best move over bet.If you cannot pull trigger then you may get a free card if he is passive.
rog 0
Any bet commits you, so you're either getting all in or giving up. Give your tight read on villain, and given that he cold-called you from middle position, I might be inclined to check/fold. AK is about the only hand in his range you can probably push him off of. That said, I dont think a push is all that bad. I think bet/fold would be horrible here.
