lordofelt 0
I was watching TV tonight when Daniel's Pokerstars commercial comes on and he starts talking about how pokerstars has 8 million players and how their is a tournament starting every second and I started to think about the claims the commercial was making. Everyone knows you can't advertise online gambling on TV in the USA so all the poker sites have created their .net counterparts to get around the loop hole and pokerstars is no different as all the ads are for pokerstars.net. However it seems that the majority of players on pokerstars are playing real money games and thus are on pokerstars.com. So I got to wondering if the US government or some advocacy group might have a case against pokerstars for false advertising as the claims they make about pokerstars.net may not be true. Furthermore with the US government constantly trying to hurt online poker anyway they can but not having any real way to attack the sites could you see the government going after them for false advertising to get back at them just like how they got Al Capone for tax evasion? Randy Reed 0
ORLY? Pokerstars is advertising suites? What are they just 2 double beds with no smoking? One Queen with no fridge? 8 million players and how their is a tournament starting Who's tourney is it? Are we getting Al capone to sue the 8 million or the 8 milion to sue Al Capone? Let him do so.I think the Government could probably look into it, but doesn't the USA have a regulatory body for TV adverts? If they receive enough complaints that pokerstars are false advertising then they may be forced to make an apology and change their adverts.

psujohn 0
There's this kinda lame show called Mind Control with Derren someone or other where he pulls scams and cons people into doing stuff. In one cool one he had these ad guys come in to write a campaign in 20 min and manipulated them into creating a campaign that he had done before hand. It was pretty cool. And what does it mean that I:a) thing sugar free red bull tastes like cough syrup andb) like sugar free red bull

Big Mike Watters 0
A serious reply...Pokerstars.net is not selling anything. It's a completely free site, that costs nothing to sign up for. Taking them to court would be futile because there are no victims. It is not like the charge you to join...only for you to see that a tourney starts every 2 minutes as opposed to every second or whatever. No-one is damaged by their claims.Just sayin'... gg tho
